CS2 is a shell of what CS:GO used to be. Valve has done a complete Blizzard and put out a rushed, unfinished and unoptimized game, and forcing all players to switch to the new one, which has considerably less content and attention to detail. Pulling another scummy move by disguising the real opinions of people by putting the game on CS:GO's store page, using it's reviews to falsely boost it's image.

The game is lacking content from CS:GO.

The game runs awfully on PC's which ran CS:GO fine, including my own.

The game is infested with cheaters.

The shooting is incredibly sloppy, and feels like playing the lottery.

The UI is incredibly crowded and nonsensical.

A bunch of gamemodes and maps from CS:GO have been out right removed.

Players are now restricted to being only able to use a select few weapons during any given game, when you could use practically all weapons during any given round of CS:GO, with limitations to weapon variants.

The simple elegant buy wheel has been replaced with a clunky, crowded buy menu akin to that of CS: Source, a game from 2004 (which actually works better than CS2 IMO).

The only thing this game has is a slight graphical improvement, the game is made to look more like Valorant and is an obvious attempt to appeal to the Overwatch, Valorant crowd, instead of making a game intended for Counter Strike's core audience.

This game is an awful excuse for a sequal, if you ever needed any more proof Valve has turned just as rotten as companies like Blizzard and Bethesda look no further. They've taken on the same mentality of "release first, fix later", "greed is good". It spits in the face of people who loved CS:GO and have supported Valve for a long time, forcing them to play this unfinished, laggy mess, all in the name of profits.

This game is mediocre at best and represents an awful trend I have no doubt Valve is more than willing to continue.

Give us back CS:GO.

Don't play this game.

Enter the gungeon is yet another masterful edition to the roguelike genre.

Everything in this game is guns, from the currency, to the health, to the enemies, etc... Which gives this game a very unique and quite interesting look. Enter the gungeon is very over the top, but not in a bad way. It knows how ridiculous it's premise is and it owns it, even though it might be very silly the game can still pull off some rather touching moments, however those do not make up the majority of the game (not that that's a problem).

What really took me back about this game was the truly baffling amount of content which this game had to offer, there are dussins of unlockables which combine in unique ways to give you special abilities, unlockable characters which can appear in the breach and add thier own unique dynamic, different challenge modes acquired through playing the game. That's not even mentioning the guns, there is such a wide variety of weapons which interract with each other in awesome ways. You might also discover a weapon or item that references another game, or a famous movie/tv-show, which might make you chuckle.

The first time you play the game you will get your ass handed to you. This game does not pull any punches, if you die it's all the way back to the first level again, the first time you're playing this it will most likely take some time before you make any significant progress, however the thing is, you might make it a little further next time. And that is what keeps you going, that will to beat the next boss to make it to the next level to unlock more stuff and make it even further.

The game is undeniably hard, sometimes it will make you extremely pissed off as you lose all your progress. But i always found myself coming back as i felt that urge to keep going, to make it further. Though the might be incredibly difficult, and you will die A LOT of times, i still think this game was worth buying. You can clearly tell that a lot of love went into making this game, everything about it is very polished and the amount of content you get for the money is absolutely worth it.

Overall great game, stylistically, content wise, gameplay wise. It simply has a lot to offer and i highly recommend that you play it.
