I cannot recommend this game for many reasons. Let me disclose that I was given this game for free for being a youtuber and having influence, but even with that influence I was still banned on their discord because I upset a handful of players years ago on a full loot MMORPG and the discord moderators thought it best to ban me (who broke zero rules) rather than the players witchhunting me. This is why I am writing this review, as revenge for this negligence.

This is NOT a game for solo players. This game has LINEAR progression, and having friends or help with progression speeds it up as a raw multiplier. If you've sunk hundreds of hours into the game and can solo speed run to end-game on a fresh server in 12 hours, four people can do it in 2 to 3. The power scaling is insane if you tech up fast enough to the point where your small band of bros can completely dumpster a server of hundreds on the first day. There's no real creative ways to play to get around this power scaling or being outnumbered like in other survival open world games. There is only one way to currently progress, and even the most skilled pro gamers can't "make plays" on someone who vastly outgears them until the late gearscore 60's which you're not going to reach as a causal player your first few days, and by then the server "dies" and the population sinks to near nothing.

I also feel personally ignored in the early beta stages of the game. I'm a youtuber who gets 500,000 to millions of monthly views and devs and discord jannies (Janitors) would ignore me over channels that barely get 200 views per month simply because they were themed around helping handicapped players play. On top of the fact that their discord jannies let witchunting and personal attacks, doxing, and what not run freely rampant on their server and official servers with no recourse is insanity. I was banned off their discord for being the target of too many witchhunts due to my antics years ago in full loot PvP games. This is the same treatment as blaming a sexual assault victim for "wearing a mini skirt."

Not only did I get this product for free, but I got several game keys and DLC's to gift out to my audience. Unfortunately I haven't found ANYONE who wants to even give this game a try.

My main gripe is the repetitiveness of the game. Because there's only one way to "tech up" and because servers die in 2-3 days you're stuck doing the same boring farming gameplay loop over and over, and if you're anti-social or have no friends, you're always on the losing end unless you manage to join a fresh server with zero population right as it opens, farm up, then the normies start flooding in hours later. Even then you only get a few hours of enjoyment dunking on copper tier players with your iron and cotton items before they zerg you down or manage to tech up to your level, and it takes 3-4x more hours sunk just to get that small burst of enjoyment.

I wouldn't recommend anyone play this game purely on the treatment I received on their discord. I broke zero rules and was banished for being a target by gremlins (Trolls that seethe over a video game years later.) where the staff did nothing about it. This is the same as not allowing Sam Hyde in to the Creator Boxing event iDubbz hosted, or banning Asmongold from a Warcraft server. Also the community managers twitter account keeps posting personal stuff not pertaining to the game at all, like her vacation around the world and random food she's eating that day. What's up with that?

Also the player count is down to 2.8k LOL!. Dead game. As a youtuber I also have to check search frequency and global interest through trends and this one is flatlined.
