Unfortunately, you cannot play with one keyboard and one controller at the same time. Returned.
If you do know how to do this, please tell me as I would gladly like to know.

Thank you developer for the quick response!! This will help me a lot. HOWEVER, I still believe there should be an easier and more intuitive way to do this. Changing review to recommended!

Hey SwiftCoderJoe

If you only have one controller and one keyboard you need to go into the options menu and assign the controller to the second player, by default it is assigned to the the first player, hope this helps.

It is possible to play with a keyboard + 3 controllers OR using 4 gamepads for all players.

Easier than simply going into a menu and pressing a few buttons?

I don't know how much more intuitive you can get.
