It's like a lost PS2 RPG, I'm having a blast

-The open world is tightly designed in a way that ensures the player won't get lost
-The only cheap deaths were because The Riddler cheats, which is appropriate
-Combat is more fluid and varied than Arkham Asylum; traversal is even better (Grapnel FTW)
-It's Batman, do I really need to sell you on the concept of being Batman and feeling like it?

Sonic Adventure has not aged as well as some of its contemporaries; having said that, its still a lot of fun to go back to. There's a decent amount of variety, and though the controls are on the loose side, I'd argue that gives itself a rather unique feel - there's nothing like figuring out that if you hit a ramp and jump off at just the right time, you can sail past half a level. It's silly, it's janky, it makes you fish way too often, but it's still a certified classic.

Tried booting this up for the first time in years; the game freaks out. Steam claims it's running when it's not. Wisely, I played Sonic Mania instead. For the entire hour and a half I was playing Mania, this thing was "running", by the way.

Sonic 4 is not fun, it's not entertaining, and about the only positive thing I can say is at least it's short. Go play literally any other Sonic game. Even the bad ones offer more amusement than this shallow waste of time.

This game is everything I've ever wanted Nintendo to put in a Paper Mario game. The comparison can't be helped, and frankly, it shouldn't be, because Bug Fables is a stellar example of taking a perfectly good concept going to waste and breathing new life into it. Shout-out to Arlo for reviewing this on his channel, or I may have missed out on this one!
