Master of Orion ist der vierte Teil dieser erfolgreichen Runden Strategie Serie. Die ersten drei habe ich nie gespielt. Dieser vierte Teil ist ähnlich wie Galactic Civilization (die Vorgänger Orion 1-3 vermutlich auch. Die sind aber wirklich schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen). Master of Orion Ist aber wesentlich leichter zu meistern wie z.B. Galactic Civilization 3 und ist auch klar günstiger.

Wie nicht anders zu erwarten kolonisiert man auch hier den Weltraum, kämpft gegen (andere) Aliens, Piraten, Weltraummonster, erforscht Technologien, baut seine Basen auf oder baut Ressourcen ab und baut verschiedene Satelliten. Man kann aus zehn verschiedenen Spezies plus der Terraner auswählen. Drei weitere Alien-Rassen können als DLC gekauft werden. Schlachten erfolgen in Echtzeit oder können automatisch berechnet werden. Das Universum kann auf Form, Größe und Alter angepasst werden. Die Anzahl der Gegner ist ebenfalls auswählbar.

Die Grafik ist nicht mehr so gut wie bei den neuesten GC, aber durchaus akzeptabel und es macht Spaß das Spiel zu zocken. Ich kann es gerne empfehlen.




Master of Orion is the fourth part of this successful turn-based strategy series. I never played the first three. This fourth part is similar to Galactic Civilization (the predecessors Orion 1-3 probably also. But they are really getting old). Master of Orion is much easier to master than Galactic Civilization 3 and is also clearly cheaper.

As you would expect, you colonize space here, fight against (other) aliens, pirates, space monsters, research technologies, build your bases or mine resources and build various satellites. You can choose from ten different species plus the Terrans. Three additional alien races can be purchased as DLC. Battles occur in real time or can be calculated automatically. The universe can be adjusted to shape, size and age. The number of opponents can also be selected.

The graphics are not as good as the latest GC, but they are certainly acceptable and the game is fun to play. I can happily recommend it.

Vorweg: Ich habe schon sehr viele Fußball Manager gespielt. New Star Manager gehört sicher nicht zu den schlechtesten und spielt sich ähnlich wie Football Tactics Glory, da man auch aktiv als Spieler eingreifen muss. Einzelne Teile des Live-Spiels werden jedoch automatisch berechnet, wie das bei vielen Fußball Managern der Fall ist. Es kann aus ca. 30 Ländern aus 6 Kontinenten eine Trainerkarriere ausgewählt werden. Der wirtschaftliche Aspekt wie Finanzen, Stadion, Sponsoren, etc. ist aber wesentlich komplexer und besser, als bei Football Tactics Glory, und funktioniert teilweise über Aktionskarten. Diese kann man nach jedem erfolgreichen Spiel erwerben. Man kann diese Aktionskarten dann für Training, Scouting, Zufriedenheit, Fitness etc. einsetzen. Zudem gibt der Vorstand einem nach je fünf Spielen drei Aufgaben, die es zu erledigen gilt,- bei Erfüllung bekommt man eine Belohnung. Bei erfolgreichen Presseinterviews bekommt man ebenfalls eine Belohnung.

Es ist nur wenig Mikro Management nötig und eine Saison ist recht schnell durch. Vom Schwierigkeitsgrad ist das Game eher als leicht einzustufen. Das Spiel kann auch mit einem Controller gesteuert werden. Es können drei Spielstände angelegt werden und das Spiel speichert automatisch in der Cloud. Ein bisschen schade finde ich das kein Steam-Workshop zur Verfügung steht.

Fazit: New Star Manager ist ein echter Geheimtipp und eine gute und kostengünstige Alternative zu Football Tactics Glory. Für mich ist das Spiel derzeit einer der besten - auch voll funktionsfähigen - Fußball Manager auf Steam.




First of all: I have played a lot of football managers. New Star Manager is certainly not one of the worst and plays similarly to Football Tactics Glory, as you also have to actively intervene as a player. However, individual parts of the live game are calculated automatically, as is the case with many football managers. You can choose a coaching career from around 30 countries on 6 continents. The economic aspect such as finances, stadium, sponsors, etc. is much more complex and better than in Football Tactics Glory, and partly works via action cards. These can be purchased after every successful game. You can then use these action cards for training, scouting, happiness, fitness, etc. In addition, the board gives you three tasks to complete after every five games - if you complete them you get a reward. You also get a reward for successful press interviews.

Little micro-management is required and a season is over quite quickly. In terms of difficulty, the game can be classified as easy. The game can also be controlled with a controller. Three save games can be created and the game automatically saves in the cloud. I think it's a bit of a shame that there's no Steam workshop available.

Conclusion: New Star Manager is a real insider tip and a good and inexpensive alternative to Football Tactics Glory. For me, the game is currently one of the best - also fully functional - football manager on Steam.

Eigentlich ist das ist ja der beste Fussball Manager derzeit auf Steam und ich hätte ja auch wirklich gerne eine positive Bewertung für das Spiel gegeben. Aber derzeit ist das Spiel derart verbuggt dass man es praktisch nicht spielen kann. Nach dem Early Access werde ich dem Game wieder eine Chance geben, erneut zocken und nochmals neu bewerten.




Actually, this is the best football manager currently on Steam and I would have really liked to give the game a positive rating. But currently the game is so buggy that it's practically unplayable. After Early Access I will give the game another chance, play again and reevaluate.

Weedcraft Inc. ist eine unterhaltsame und humorvolle Wirtschaftssimulation mit unverbrauchtem Thema und ganz guter Story, benutzerfreundlicher Steuerung, netter Grafik und gutem Sound.

Werde zum Drogendealer und nach der Legalisierung von Haschisch zum legalen Großhändler, besteche die Polizei, züchte und baue unterschiedliche Hanfpflanzen an und beliefere alle möglichen unterschiedlichen Kundengruppen in mehreren Städten und werde so endgültig zum Drogenbaron der USA. Mir hat das Spiel viel Spaß gemacht und ich kann es gerne weiterempfehlen.




Weedcraft Inc. is an entertaining and humorous business simulation with a fresh theme and a very good story, user-friendly controls, nice graphics and good sound.

Become a drug dealer and after legalizing hashish become a legal wholesaler, bribe the police, breed and grow different hemp plants and supply all sorts of different customer groups in multiple cities and finally become the drug lord of the USA. I enjoyed the game a lot and I can recommend it.

Interessantes Gehirntraining zu dem vielgeliebten Würfel von Professor Rubik´s mit verschiedenen Spielmodi´s. Ich hatte am Anfang Probleme mit der Spielsteuerung. Der Controller hat nicht funktioniert. Im Big Picture Mode klappte das aber mit einem Steam Controller (vermutlich auch mit einem anderen Controller) wirklich prima.




Interesting brain training for Professor Rubik's much-loved cube with different game modes. I had problems with the game controls at the beginning. The controller didn't work. In the Big Picture Mode it works really well with a Steam controller (probably also with another controller).

Epic Palace Knossos ist eine schöne Mischung aus Städtebausimulation, Handel, Strategie und vor allem Rohstoff Mikro Managment. Wichtig ist es auch - neben der Ausbau des Palastes und der Stadt - Aufträge zu erfüllen damit das Ansehen steigt. Nur so kann das Spiel gewonnen werden. Die Grafik und der Sound sind schön und stimmig. In ca. 8-9 Stunden ist es durchgespielt. Der Wiederspielwert ist leider nicht allzu hoch,- vor allem weil der Highscore und die Archivpunkte nicht erhalten bleiben. Hierfür bedarf es eigentlich auf jeden noch eines Updates!! Ich fürchte allerdings dass es das nicht mehr geben wird, trotzdem kann ich das Spiel empfehlen.




Epic Palace Knossos is a nice mixture of city building simulation, trading, strategy and above all raw material micro management. It is also important - in addition to the expansion of the palace and the city - to fulfill orders so that the reputation increases. This is the only way to win the game. The graphics and the sound are nice and consistent. It takes about 8-9 hours to play through. Unfortunately, the replay value isn't too high - mainly because the high score and the archive points aren't retained. It really needs an update for this one!! However, I'm afraid that this will no longer exist, but I can still recommend the game.

Viridi ist ein sehr entspannendes Online Spiel in dem man Pflanzen betreuen muss mit gut passender, ruhiger Musik. Es können unterschiedliche Pflanzen, Töpfe, Räume etc. gegen Bares gekauft werden. Die Preise sind moderat. Als Belohnung bekommt man jede Woche ein Bildchen.




Viridi is a very relaxing online game in which you have to look after plants with well-fitting, calm music. Different plants, pots, rooms etc. can be bought for cash. The prices are moderate. As a reward you get a picture every week.

Fish Tycoon 2 ist im Gegensatz zu Fish Tycoon 1 eine "Online" Aquarium Wirtschaftssimulation mit ganz hübschen, kindlichen Grafiken bei der man - wie sollte es auch anders sein - Fische züchten und dann verkaufen kann. Spielt sich sehr schnell durch. Ich empfehle das Spiel vor allem für Kinder.




In contrast to Fish Tycoon 1, Fish Tycoon 2 is an "online" aquarium business simulation with pretty, child-like graphics in which you can - how could it be otherwise - breed fish and then sell them. Plays through very quickly. I recommend the game especially for children.

Ganz netter, aber leider unfertiger "Clash of Clans" Clone im futuristischen Look, das im Team trotzdem Spaß macht zu zocken. Nicht allzu Pay to Win lastig. Wer sehr viel Zeit mitbringt kann im Highscore ziemlich weit raufklettern. Leider gibt es keine Updates mehr für das Game, sodass das Spiel auf sein sicheres Ende zusteuert. Wer Online Spiele mag, gerne im Team spielt, und viel Zeit und Geduld mitbringt, dem kann ich das Spiel trotzdem empfehlen,.... solange es noch lebt. Vorsicht Suchtfaktor!




Very nice, but unfortunately unfinished "Clash of Clans" clone with a futuristic look, which is still fun to play in a team. Not too Pay to Win heavy. If you bring a lot of time with you, you can climb up quite a bit in the high score. Unfortunately, there are no more updates for the game, so the game is heading towards its safe end. I can still recommend the game to anyone who likes online games, likes to play in a team, and has a lot of time and patience.... as long as it's still alive. Caution addictive factor!

Sehr kreativer und futuristischer aber aber auch leider nicht ganz fertiger Nachfolger von Woman Soccer Manager bzw. PRO11. Trotz aller Kreativität: wer ein Spiel dieser Reihe gespielt hat kennt sie alle. Und natürlich wie immer: um wirklich vorne mit zu spielen geht - wie üblich in dieser Reihe - ohne Pay to Win gar nix. Die Preise sind absurd hoch,- sodass ich nur davon abraten kann zu kaufen. Auch wenn ich trotzdem Spaß mit dem Spiel hatte und viel Zeit damit verbinge,- würde ich es nicht weiterempfehlen.

And of course, as always: to really be at the forefront - as usual in this series - you can't do anything without Pay to Win. The prices are absurdly high, so I can only advise against buying.
