The art in this game is great, but it's just...not fun for me. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist when I play games, so the whole thing where you just recruit as many bodies as you can just makes me annoyed. Besides that, I just feel like it totally lacks direction. Like, why am I at this hamlet? I just don't really care every time I leave my town. You can figure out how to get the strategy going eventually, but even then, turn-based strategy is just so boring for me in a fighting, dungeon, gritty game. I can't really make myself play it. The difficulty doesn't turn me away, and the teambuilding doesn't turn me away, but...there's no fun part for me. I feel totally unsatisfied. Be careful that this game is within your taste before you buy it. I like the narrator though.

When I think of this game, I think of annoying, not fun. There's no real satisfying part for me, outside of the graphics. Even when I win, it feels like I finished washing the dishes or something. I don't feel proud, only relieved that I don't have to be do it anymore.

Castle Crashers is a pleasant conglomerate of medieval-based fighting, magic, and poop jokes that's best played with friends.

Pros--

Well worth the money.

Thought-out and relaxing, and best played with friends. There's plenty of content and potential for creativity, and it's still fairly fast-paced in fighting. Mining can get a bit monotone, but it pays off, and the rng keeps you interested.
