If you like old-looking, old-playing games; or just plausible and safe hacking experiences, Uplink is probably as close as a puzzle indie game could get to the perfect mix and match of all of that.

Yes, sometimes it's tiresome to navigate through the menus, or not being able to alt-tab to lower the sound; or not being able to scroll inside the menus; and yes the game is pretty much a decade and a half old.

But it's also one of the best games of its kind I've played. I've bought it from Steam, that's to tell you how much I like it. It takes a few hours of trying and reading the help sections in the Uplink Internal Services Server to get up and running but from there it only gets better.

I wouldn't play it for hundreds of hours but it's cool to get back to from time to time. The soundtrack is particularily stellar and fitting.

Nice game; but don't buy it if you can't bother with aged HUD and gameplay.

Ce jeu est un super fps. Combattre des dinos dans des tanks, helicos, jeeps ou encore des robots, c'est génial ! Je le recommande à tous !
