The greatest strategy game every made (if you pair it with one of several excellent realism mods, vanilla is garbage)

Wikinger, Kriegspiel, Europe at War or any of several fantastic realism mods make CoH2 almost perfect.

Soldiers die as they should when shot, no disgusting HP bars. Tanks bounce shells or die quickly depending on what is shooting at them. Penetration mechanics are extremely well done.

Vision and Line of sight are well depicted with soldiers hiding behind a building completely obscured for instance.

It actually has destructive environments, with craters offering cover to soldiers, walls and trees getting destroyed, elevation changes with explosions, etc.

Graphics are stellar, and even now after 6 years it's one of the best looking RTS games out there.
