I'm a little disappointed...
First and foremost, I wishlisted this game when it was first announced for release in the near future, which was quite some time ago. Since then, I have been patiently waiting for this game to appear, despite having little interest in games like Stray where the main character is a feline or a fully tracked animal character. This game is adorable, but could it be too adorable?

I don't want to post a bad review, but I also know I won't be able to play through and finish it (it's very short) because I don't enjoy it at all. Cute, hilarious, but not enjoyable. It is sometimes frustrating.

My feelings
When I play some games, it's almost like a gut feeling. If I yawn, it usually implies I'm not getting the vibe of a game; if I get lightheaded, it means I'm not feeling it because it feels like a children's game and I am forcefully pushing myself to play something I thought I'd really enjoy. In this example, the answer is the latter. Once again, this game is charming; you can meow, knead muffins, and be a threat to society, but it's really a repetitious collectathon featuring a little kitty with often times janky controls that have you falling off buildings because it overshot your movements and bonked you into a object sending you backwards off a ledge and then back up you go again, being more on the slow and steady style of gameplay.

I really wanted to like this game; I've played so many games comparable to it in other formats, such as "Here Comes Niko," "Frog Detective" and hell even "Little Gator Game" all which felt very childlike but so full of content for such a reasonable amount which range from ridiculous and goofy little games to downright wholesome and emotionally story-driven. However, after only an hour of playtime, I had the idea that this game was intended for highly impressionable children or individuals who are obscenely obsessed with cats. There is nothing wrong with that what so ever, but there is a problem with the price tag, content and just length.

Conclusion
Just because I couldn't like it doesn't really mean you won't either, give it a try.

It's disappointing that I can't recommend it, because for the price and the quality of the game, it just doesn't feel polished, with falling through walls, off ledges when it was clearly a climb to napping for a minute somewhere in the city, and the cats' X and Y axis shifting every few seconds moving them around and through objects if you left it long enough while afk.

If you have a child or are very impressionable when it comes to animals, this game will be an excellent fit for you. The gameplay consists of collecting shinies for birds to earn hats and more fish to climb back up to your home. If you're seeking for more depth than this, there isn't much to enjoy. The marketing for this game was fantastic, it just sucks that it couldn't deliver.
