A really fun arcadey shooter taken to a whole other level by its clever use of narration; events unfolding on screen will change in real time, like taking one fork in a path and then later recanting and having to play through the other path, or enemies changing from Apaches to bandits when a listener points out that it wasn't Apache territory, or running through an endless loop of train cars when the narrator steps away for a moment to go to the bathroom.

The core gameplay is plenty fun on its own, and the experience system lets you unlock perks related to whatever weapons and tactics you like so you can play however you like whether it's accurate long-distance rifle shooting or quickly mowing down crowds of bandits up-close with double revolvers or dynamiting groups and shotgunning the survivors. And the regenerating health system rewards skillful play by letting you automatically dodge shots that would otherwise kill you if you've built up enough kills.

The only real issue is that some of the puzzle bosses are frustrating at first and will require a few deaths for you to figure out their gimmicks, and that some of the later quick-draw minigames can be prety tough unless you mess around with sensitivity settings or use a controller.
