pretty good overall, warfare and conquest is the core of the game and it's enjoyable, even if it's probably the most mappainty of all paradox games. The way that Paradox made the distinction between Legions and base Levies without just giving a flat buff to Legions (they get distinctions, you can customize their composition, drill them, etc) is very good and feels excellent to play with. Character management is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now though, PDX went with a sort of half and half between CK2's in depth characters and EU4's non-existent ones and the result is disappointing.
