A great BR with a lot of potential. Right now the game suffers from a low player count, and a few annoying bugs due to early alpha. But this is genuinely the most fun I've had in a video game since like 2016, highly recommended.

CSGO was fun. CS2 is an absolute cesspool of cheaters and lag.

Matchmaking takes 15-20 minutes to find a game, unless you queue premier, which has about a 70% chance of having a cheater (or multiple, usually multiple) in the lobby. Cheating is such a problem, it makes you wonder if this game actually even has an anticheat. How can someone spinning at 5000RPM, staring at the floor, and going 72-3 with a Scout not be immediately detected by an anti cheat? This game is marketed as a competitive and tactical shooter. But it's not competitive at all when you have a 0% chance of winning before the game even begins, because you're faced up against a team of 6hr accounts with 7KD's.

Sub tick is awful, it feels horribly inconsistent. Jumping doesn't feel right, or even close to consistent, strafing doesn't feel right, and hit detection is abysmal. The amount of AWP shots that go straight through players chests, while they're standing still is insane to me. Hit detection aside, there is an ungodly amount of desync. I frequently get killed after being behind cover for about a quarter second. It feels like I'm playing the game at a constant 300 ping. To make things worse, spectators literally see server side actions before the player they're spectating does. On many occasions, I have been killed by people that aren't on my screen for even a single frame, but my spectating teammates saw them. I have been told by teammates "he definitely saw you", but I have no idea what they're talking about, because I didn't see the same enemy that the spectators did.

This game has so much potential, but the surplus of cheaters, and horrible desync ruin it. After having played 4k+ hours in CSGO, this pathetic excuse for a game is an absolute slap in the face. Fix your damn game Valve. I am so incredibly disappointed in CS2.

Great game, but me and my gf beat it in 90 minutes. I do wish it was a bit longer, but other than that, it was quite enjoyable.
