Neither a god in the sky,
Nor a meaning on earth.
Words, like a mouthless echo,
Fall inside me, silent and unclaimed.

My steps are uncertain,
Which path is true, which path is void?
Perhaps I had a map once,
But now all directions are blind to one another.

Love, friendship, hope,
What were they but mere disappointments?
As if I played my role on a stage,
Now the curtain has fallen, the audience gone.

I am a lost person,
But who would notice that I am missing?
No hand reaches out, no light strikes,
The void grows, like an abyss within.

Perhaps one need not seek meaning,
Perhaps being lost is an answer in itself.
But this answer is not on my lips,
It echoes only in a deep silence.

And now here I stand,
Without falling, yet without moving forward.
I am a lost soul,
Neither a faith, nor a feeling,
Just a shadow standing at the edge of the abyss.
