If looking to play in any serious capacity make sure to install a 4gb patcher at the minimum as that prevents a good amount of the crashing, but I would also recommend just following the "Viva New Vegas" modding guide in its entirety. After completing that this is a masterpiece of a game, 10/10 would learn zero lessons about letting go again
