Social MMOs are an incredibly niche genre and as a huge fan social MMOs / virtual worlds like club penguin, Tower Unite, and Onverse I can safely say this game is NOT worth your time in it's current state. I played the 1.0 version of this game and that was a huge disaster. I'll give the devs props the 2.0 version is way better but still feels incredibly bare bones. Which makes me wonder what's the point of calling this 2.0 when it feels like it's an alpha?

I want to start off with the good / okay things about the game. The devs are pretty cool and constantly active with their discord. There also aren't any intrusive microtransactions. The character creator is decent but not great. Suprisingly a lot of the npcs are voiced a lot of the voice acting was very average to bad but it was a nice surprise. The housing is decent and probably the most fleshed out part of the game but compared to other games its average at best. That's about the good things now for the laundry list of bad.

1) All the quests are the same. They're all repeatable fetch quests. Once you've done one that's all there is to see. Hell if you've play another mmo before you've probably done everything piffsy has to offer.

2) Questing sucks in Piffsy. The quests don't have markers. Nor do they have a mini map to see where to go. You kinda just stumble upon what you need. This wouldn't be a problem if the quests dialogue gave you a hint like vanilla WoW but you get no clues nor do you get a mini map on where to go. The quest dialogue doesn't even change when you hand in a quest
This game also likes to market itself as being able to quest with friends but there's no share quest button or any reason to group up with other players in the first place.

3) The worlds are all empty and have nothing to do in them. Literally two of the worlds are just giant forests. It's just empty terrain with the occasional landmark you can't even interact with. The plaza looked nice but you cannot interact with anything in the world except questing objectives. It's a social mmo but I can't even sit down in a chair and talk to people?

4) The mini games feel really janky.

5) The game itself is empty even on launch day aside from the welcome room I did not run into a single player. The chat had some people talking but it was few and far between.

I do want to see the game succeed social mmos are hard to come by. But considering this is the second launch and the devs released this in such a barebones state doesn't have me very hopeful.

"One of your complaints is that the game is empty of players. And yet, you're recommending people don't try this game. A free game. What."

Are you implying my review is the reason this game doesn't have players? No the game doesn't have players because there is no engaging content nor does this game have a identity. This game hasn't even had any update since launch. Free or not this game isn't worth your time.

if they add magic casting similiar to how blender's render nodes are used. i would give this game a chance. otherwise i don't really wanna bother with people just looking at each otheer's avatars VRCHAT.
