If you are a fan of any combination of RPGs, Megaman Battle Network, Starforce, Adventure games, or story, you are in for a treat with this game. This was the only game in the past 20+ years that has been able to scratch the itch that Battle Network and Starforce have left behind, while still being unique enough to be able to stand on its own and feel refreshing.

Gameplay loop is fun, and the style is really nice, but progression is SO SLOW. Devs are actively working on it and have been making improvements with every patch. If you don't mind a bit of a grind, it is a pretty good game that's improving with every patch.

9/10. Really good monster collector, pretty well balanced, VERY good adventure length. On a large scale, the story is pretty good. Having to actually read the dialogue sucks though, character conversations are often only as deep as "Wait, this is a video game? That's craaaazy.." and lack any real substance apart from being self-aware, self-referential, third-wall breaking dialogue. Other than that, there is a lot of care in this game and it shows.
