I am genuinely happy that i can finally mark this review as positive. The game has made a breakthrough and got a bit of a charm it used to have when i first played this game.

1: The Game
1.1: General
As for Rabi-Ribi itelf, i love the game's core mechanics. It really was an amazing idea to put Erina in the game. Whatever other people say, i love the lore and story. It wasn't too complicated like the rest and anything that did confuse me a little, got fully explained when i replayed the game on a harder difficulty. Speaking of difficulty, the game's difficulties actually are different from each other. So thank you for that.

1.2: FPS
For me, the game is running better. There are two ways to play Rabi-Ribi:
1. Die alot and retry alot.
2. Do not die alot by a running slow pc. This consumes alot more time though.
I am using a low-end pc, but the game runs at 60 fps. I used to not like this, but i have definitely improved in concentration and gameplay strategy to be able to easily go with the flow the game offers during the boss battles.

1.2: DLC's
1.2.1: DLC 3
For the DLC's, i think they all have a strong grip on the game, in a way that it is slightly different than the time you played it without, but still lay heavily close to the original game. Months and months after me quitting Rabi-Ribi, i thought the third, fourth and fifth DLC would heavily differ. The original game was full of story, amazing music and definetely the most important: the atmosphere. Cicini's Halloween was a twist that would make it easier for the fourth and fifth DLC to be accepted. Cicini's Halloween made the Graveyard alot more interesting. Cheers for that! It was just a bit sad that it was mostly based on skill-based platforming than exploring.

1.2.2: DLC 4

The "Order a DLC" DLC is a bit weird. It both does amazing work but ruins some parts. The added story was incredible. Absolutely incredible. It makes a fun happy ending for Noah, which was missing in my book for a long time. The added areas were pretty alright, with an exception of the Lilli & Pixie boss battle area, which was outrageously good. It gave the nostalgia the game used to give me back in 2016. Thank you for that! The Boss Battles were super fun and i am willing to re-do them all over again.

The parkouring in this one was a bit bad, if i may say so. The speedy run you had to do from the top of the ravine down to the Stele was infuriating to do, as not only it forced you down a super specific path (while the game itself is heavily based on it's Open World mechanic), but it also, after finishing this event, blocks you off from the Ravine. In the newly added Hall Of Memories, the fourway passage i had to go down was a painful experience on my mind, but i secretly also like the concept that it requires thinking work. The boss fight in the end brought my opinion fully back up. Again, thanks for the happy ending!

1.2.3: DLC 1 & 2
I chose to cover DLC 3 & 4 first, because those were easy to remember. The OST was amazing, i truely enjoyed that aspect. The music in Order A DLC and Cicini's Halloween were close to the original game, so thanks for the art you made! The artbook was also to my likings. The warm welcome of the opening menu to the extra content that there is to see is worth the time.

1.2.4: DLC 5

Before Next Adventure is pretty straightforward. As much as i see, the CG's are pretty nice. It does remove a slight bit of the nostalgia. It advantages and disadvantages are equal, which makes it actually really good!

2: Community
Oh boy, here's the part that takes the game down for me. For Rabi-Ribi, the game isn't toooooo popular, and so it relies on two "unions": RabiDB and the Speedrun Community.

2.1: RabiDB
Before i go deeper in this, thank you AlexSSZ for the time i was allowed to moderate the place. I certainly wasn't the best at it, but it trained me for other Moderator jobs. RabiDB was the place i spend my time on. I became Moderator in July, 2017.

One thing i especially noticed, is that salt is also included in this game. The community was REALLY sensitive for mistakes. I had to go for my own sake and my bad job with mistakes. I know loose cannons are bad at it, but they won't go easy on you.

2.2: Speedrun Community
I. Hate. Speedrunning. Speedrunning ruins 70% what the game is meant for; 50% Atmosphere and 20% Enjoyment. GemaYue actually supports this. The game is very very slowly changing. You'll see, trust me. Since i never joined the speedrun community, i know less about it. But i am certain that i do not want to enter that place.

2.3: Now
As of now, the community is now able to make workshop items, which i heavily despice. I only got the Limited PC Packet and the LINE Stickers when merch would have been sold alot. If they would put the shirts back in store, i would continue buying merch again.

Conclusion
So you might want to ask what my point is. The DLC's have pulled me back into the game after my break for a year in Begin 2018. I had so much fun when i bought it, and i still do up to this day.

As for now, i am disappointed with the community of Rabi-Ribi. I fully neglect it to get the negative influence of them out of my brain. This way, the game will never lose the charm it has always had.
