Boost Your FPS with LossLess Scaling – It Used to Be Free!

As an 81-year-old lifelong gamer, I’ve experienced all kinds of performance issues over the years, but LossLess Scaling is one of the most effective tools I’ve ever used to boost FPS. It used to be free on their official site, but even now, it’s a fantastic tool worth having.

Personal Experience:
I run a GTX 1060, and I’ve tested LossLess Scaling with various games. In ARK Survival Ascended, I was getting around 40 FPS on low settings with console tweaks. But after lowering my resolution and enabling frame generation at X3 with LossLess Scaling, I was able to hit 90 FPS consistently. By capping my FPS, the game ran smoothly with barely any input lag, making it completely playable.

For older games like Borderlands 3, the improvement was even more noticeable. I used to get 60-70 FPS on medium settings, but battles would cause severe FPS spikes and stutters. After capping the FPS around 50-55 and using X2 frame generation, the game ran at over 100 FPS with no input lag, and the stuttering was gone.

Pro Tip:
One key point: if you don’t cap your FPS, you’ll notice a lot more input lag. However, when you cap the frame rate, the input lag feels almost completely gone. I tested this with CS2 and Fortnite—when I pushed the FPS from 100 to 200 using LossLess Scaling, and the GPU/CPU weren’t maxed out, I didn’t feel any noticeable input lag at all. It was perfect!

Another tip is to avoid maxing out your GPU/CPU usage to 100%. If you do, you’ll experience drops in FPS and lag in certain areas. Keep GPU/CPU usage around 90% by capping your FPS, and you’ll avoid these issues. It’s all about balance with this app. The key here is to experiment and see what works best for your setup and the games you play.

If your game doesn’t have a built-in custom FPS cap, you can use RTSS (Rivatuner Statistics Server) to cap the FPS to whatever you want. This is a great solution if you're trying to maintain stable performance.

Worth It!
I tried the free version for two weeks (before the site went down) and saw how much it transformed my gaming experience. After that, I bought the full version on Steam, and it was worth every penny. It might still be available through other sources, but if you can get your hands on it, it’s a powerful tool.

In Conclusion:
LossLess Scaling is a game-changing tool for boosting FPS in both modern and older games. As an 81-year-old gamer, I’ve seen my fair share of performance tools, but this one stands out. If you find it and it works for you like it did for me, it’s worth supporting with a purchase.
