One of the best GPU overclocking software out there. Just don't be an idiot and try to unlock all the achievements, or you'll end up having a toaster instead of a graphics card.

Early Access Review
As I'm writing this, the game is only 210 MB. Not much, right? Exactly. The graphics aren't the best, the maps are small, there aren't many options. But that's what makes me like this game, it's simple and straight to the point. It's good when you want to have some FPS fun, but without all the complex or complicated stuff from major games such as CS and CoD, which this game clearly is heavily influenced by. Just join a game, buy a weapon and kill! Each frag grants you an amount of money, so you can buy better weapons. The best thing is that when you die, you keep the last weapon you bought.

So, are you looking for a simple, free-to-play (and not pay-to-win!) first person shooter? Yeah? Then try WARMODE.

Every fan of zombie survival games has to play Killing Floor. Endless fun with a wave-based survival system, lots of different specimens (that's how the enemy NPCs are called), epic slow-motion moments, tons of maps, character system where you can level up different perks such as Field Medic and Sharpshooter (I reckon that this is probably what keeps most players hooked to the game)... and tons of other features. Oh, it's also a nice stress relief game - because why wouldn't you want to shoot specimens in the head after a long day of work?

Ruined my gaming life and at the same time it really enhanced it. I met most people on my friends list on it and became really good friends with some of them.

I'm mostly a Scavenge and Survival player. Yeah, I don't really like Versus and Campaign, which are the most played game modes. Being a Scavenge player, where the community is way smaller, I get to know basically everyone who plays it regularly and when I join a game (mostly on the Rooftop map) it's guaranteed that I will meet someone there who is either on my friends list or that I knew before just by playing. I'd say the best years to play this game mode where 2010-2013, it just died from there on to nowadays, but surprisingly, there's people who still play Scavenge, so there's always at least 1 game.

Left 4 Dead 2's main problem, unlike most FPS games, isn't hackers. It's the community itself, specially the tryhards. Those morons that take video gaming more seriously than real life (well, they probably don't have a proper life to begin with anyway). Yeah, they get mad in public matches if people don't have over 2.000 hours and don't skeet every Hunter they see, even if their team is winning. You're going to have a hard time playing the PvP gamemodes, Scavenge and Versus, if you don't have at least 200 or 300 hours on Campaign and Survival you're going to be judged (if your profile isn't set to private or friends-only).

Don't expect a horror shooting game, there's no horror elements in Left 4 Dead 2. The creepiest thing (if you can call it that) is the Witch, and even so, she's kinda... cute. Expect an action game with a toxic PvP community and a (mostly) friendly PvE one.

Better than agar.io. Integrated with Steam. Addicting while played with friends.

The way this game was coded is what scares me, not the game itself...

No options menu, lots of bugs, stupid looking "monster" (check my screenshots), and the list goes on...
Oh well, it's a free game after all. Try it, you might not have the same opinion as I did. 3/10 for the attempt.

Had to restart the game to get rid of this:

HAHAHAHA! That's one ugly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

P.S.: what's up with these minimum and recommended specs? They're all wrong. Minimum 8 GBs of RAM, recommended 16 GBs? Ayyy lmao, not even close.

It is free to play but not pay to win, and that automatically makes the game so much better than any others that indirectly force you to spend money to actually have fun. If you are really keen on spending money, you can buy some capsules that give you some good weapons, or buy V.I.P. to look so 1337 compared to your teammates with a coloured name and background.

Beware, as there are hackers in public servers, but these can be kicked out of the game easily. What you'll encounter frequently is players using macros, which do the double-Q motion automatically while using snipers. Please, don't be one of these idiots.

Like most games, this is more fun while played with friends. Specially the Hero mode, which is basically League of Legends in first-person perspective with shooter elements and Survival, which is PvE and consists of you and your team surviving waves of monsters. Regarding the Hero mode, I did compare it with LoL, but the thing is: I have played LoL and hated it, the whole MOBA aspect doesn't appeal to me, but playing a strategic MOBA-like game in first person shooter is so fun, and I congratulate the S.K.I.L.L. devs for adding this in.

Other game modes: Glass, Seizure (i.e. CTF), Escape, Single (i.e. free-for-all DM), Defense (Survival with difficulties) and Manhunt (kind of like a PvP zombie mode, but against alien-ish creatures). There are also the classic FPS game modes: Team Deathmatch, Sniper - Point Battle (TDM with only snipers) and Blasting (bomb planting/defusing). As you can see, it has tons of game modes to satisfy a wide range of tastes.

There's also an active competitive S.K.I.L.L.[play.eslgaming.com] scene, but I can't dwell much into that as I'm not part of it.

The graphics are pretty good and you can configure them to your own liking. I don't care much for eye candy in first person shooters so I play in low graphics and get around 300 FPS. Oh, and this game doesn't require you to have a top of the line gaming PC. The recommended specs are 2 GB of RAM, a Core2 Duo E6600 or comparable and GeForce 8600 GT or higher. You can probably even play with a worse PC than that, but seriously, it's the second decade of the 21th century, you should already have a computer that's way more powerful than that.

>tl;dr: very good free-to-play FPS. Downsides are some hackers and macro users, upsides are good graphics, gameplay and fun game modes.

Grappling hook is love. Grappling hook is life.

No, really, this game is fun as hell! Grappling from place to place while killing enemies a̶n̶d̶ ̶c̶i̶v̶i̶l̶l̶i̶a̶n̶s̶ in freeroam or missions keeps me entertained for hours. Huge map with beautiful sceneries, tons of vehicles and weapons (I recommend using zxz's Blackmarket Mod!)... what else can we ask for?

Don't think of Just Cause 2 as a simple GTA clone, no, it's more than that. Way more. Give it a try.

Warface is a pretty good. Really nice PVP and PVE modes, great graphics and gameplay!
It's a proper free-to-play, since you can have lots of fun without spending a cent in it - more games should be like this.

But, there is a huge problem: hackers.
When you first start playing, it's all good because you are matched with players that have similar levels, but once you reach about level 9/10, you automatically join a "higher level" of matchmaking and you're matched with players of very high levels. If you got used to nice balanced and fair games, I'm sorry to disappoint you by telling you what happens now... yeap, you guessed it: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hackers EVERYWHERE. My first game in this new matchmaking system and I caught two hackers in the same game, aimbotting and wallhacking... this really ruined the experience for me.

I still recommend this game for what it is as a FPS, and I still play it for the co-op experience, but something has to be done to stop or minimise the amount of hackers in Warface.

It's free-to-play and not pay-to-win; that's already a plus in my book!
Incredible soundtrack (https://soundcloud.com/thoughtmusic) with an amazing atmosphere, No More Room in Hell will keep you entertained if you're a fan of zombies, whether you're playing survival or objective (campaign/coop). If the game's original gamemodes aren't enough for you, there's plenty of ones made my the community, such as PvP/deathmatch (personal favourite) and dodgeball.
