Hard but fair games: XCOM, Lords of Xulima (currently on sale). What you're seeing now is the reason for the mass negativity - mindless supporters spamming your thread with derailments and insults which they will get away with, while those critical of the game get posts deleted, threads locked, ban threats, and actual bans. Reviews can't be censored, and they haven't figured out yet they are fueling the negativity even after someone explains this.

Also, Darkest Dungeon has never been "hard". You spam AoE and you win, likely before the enemy moves.
