Great potential for a game. The demo has maybe an hour or 2 of content currently but the idea is good. Very similar to the idea of keep talking and nobody explodes

Overall: This game is great and you can definitely get lost in it. You got survival, PvP, boss fights, puzzles, crafting, and a cool twist in post apocalyptic. The only “gotchas” I’ve found are cosmetics and a premium battle pass. The bad is setting up a house at the beginning. Honestly, just play through and the real estate becomes more abundant the further you get. My only complaint is you can’t give gear and you can’t swap servers.

Early Access Review
So, I played this game late 2016 for about 3 months and by the 3rd month, I hated the game. I was so annoyed by all the bugs. I remember that a car was parked next to me, all of the sudden flipped on top of me and killed me and I lost everything. Then after 4 hours of getting everything back, I was in the hotel eating my fill, then I just died....no monsters, zombies, or people around. Just death, so I quit. And on top of it the server I was playing sucked (DirtyWorld). Now here I am about 7-8 months later, and I heard how hard they have been improving it. So I decided to hop on. I will say I am very impressed. Even the small things are just amazing, like scavenging, improved smoke grenades, building bases in houses, and who knows what else..but I am excited to learn. This game went from a 3/10 to a 8/10. There is always room to improve and it is still alpha.

My advice:
1. Try different servers. I love the one I'm on now (The Reckoning)
2. Some people dislike it because there is "nothing to do". I get it, but this is a true and honest survival game...you survive, that's it...you make your own story. My recommendations is to find a RP server..I never thought I'd like to RP until I tried it, now I prefer it.
3. It's alpha. And it is showing more promise every update. Definitely does not seem like a "Rust" situation where it will be Alpha forever.

So for this I originally rated it a thumbs up, which was my fault because after playing a decent amount of time I realize that one does not get $40 worth of game with this.

Pros:
1. It's something to do while waiting for another game to download
2. Fun with firends once you get pass all the game crashing, bugs, and exploiters.

Cons:
1. 3 Maps, all pretty much the same and they require the same tactics for Jason and counselors. The RNG (as far as items go) is there, but it's pretty much the same thing with a different name
2. Speaking of RNG. Great thought, bad execution. RNG can really screw you. Regardless if your Jason or a counselor, the RNG can screw you bad.
3. A game where success is completely based on communication (and luck), and doesn't require a microphone nor is a text to chat option available.
4. It takes nothing to play as Jason. I appreciate the efforts put into all the environmental kills and grab kills, but a rare few ever use them. Jason grabs, button mashes the hot keys and there is no way to break free unless you happen upon a pocket knife, which again, RNG can screw you on that.
5. Tha game becomes dull, monotenous, and a gamble. This game seems to be 70% luck and 30% skill. Imagine playing the slots where a win amounts to a high five.
6. Bugs, not just cosmetic issues, but game altering/ending issues.
7. Objectives. Boat, car(s), or cops. Same thing each time, same fix each time. (I am aware you can "kill" jason through an elaborate process, but honestly, I am sure that most people who have gotten that coordinated it.

My Hopes:
I wish this game the best, I do. The developers spent much time and effort on it and I would never wish ill on their work. As it stands now, this game is worth $15 in my opinion. The way ahead, there does not seem to be any growth to this game. It is so tightly spun around a single theme that expanding will either A: Be cosmetic (i.e. RetoJason) or B: Anger the die hard fans. I hope this game continues to grow, I do, but being realistic, with the problems mentioned above and the options of expanding very limited, it does not look too promising.
