bait and switch

At first glance it seems to be a simple (and easy) deck builder, but the cards have lots of synergy with each other that definitely flesh out the puzzle like combat.

A downgrade in everyway from its precursors.

This game had promise and potential.
I really wanted to like this game, but it has so many design flaws that I just couldn't.

Note: Only played for an hour, but extensively watched beta streams

Combat is overly simple and shallow. Blocking and defending is easy for even the fast attacks and leaves an attacker open, creating a turtle meta-game where its safest to block then retaliate. I wanted this game to be great, but it leaves me wanting more then it provides and is NOT worth a 60$ price tag. Maybe I'll come back to it after the price is significantly dropped, but I feel as if it will be a dead game by then.
