TL;DR:
The game is f@#k!ng old. Download My patch. But to summarize, not recommend to play on PC because tweaking is your priority. Get it on Console instead (PS3 Trilogy HD).

Summary:
I played the original trilogy from 2003-2007. I also played the PSP port titled Rivals, because that version is a mess. Don't get me started on the Wii. Either.

Story:
The game is an alternate pre-sequel or an alternative scenario to both The Sand of Times and Warrior Within. After the latter, the Prince (Yuri Lowenthal; Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto and Spider-Man) return to his home with Kaileena, until some a$$hole name Vizier killed her and you become unleashed with the Sand once again.

Gameplay:
It's basic Prince of Persia sh!t. You parkour/jump from things to climb and solved puzzled while you're at it. Combat is pretty basic. There is Heavy attack and Light attack. Also the inclusion of stylish stealth that would led the foundation to Ubisoft future titles. In some scenario, you also transform into the Dark Prince alter-ego from time to time and it will cost your f@#king health. So, in that state, start breaking vase, pots and kills enemy to get the damn sand on ya. Once you touch the water, Prince will be back to Normal as usual.

As you progress, you'll get to upgrade your sand slot to get more Sand that you can use to Rewind time whenever you die (like me, an a$$hole). Either from a stupid fall or a g0ddamn falling out.

PROS:
Not much to say. I'd say the story is good and Yuri Lowenthal back in the day really an interesting choice to VO the Prince. I don't know why the Montreal Team thought replacing Yuri is a good idea in the WW, but I guess that they were going on a different direction.

CONS & TECHNICAL ISSUE:
Like I said above, this game is f@#king old as f@#k! That means, the old Prince of Persia game remained unattended because the Montreal team really didn't give a sh!t about this game. The widescreen is f@#ked, the controllers are f@#ked and Steam Overlay did not work, because for some reason, Ubisoft did not integrate it through Steam. You can force it, but results are bad to say the least.

The Steam version is also censored because of the g0ddamn ESRB and PEGI being a p0ssy because a little gore is bad for the children. F@#K the children man! *SIGH* So yeah, you'll spend a lot of time tweaking this game, rather than playing it like me. Because if it's the other way around, a lot more people woulda comeback to this game. With Achievements obviously and fixes.

I don't need a g0ddamn remaster like Beyond Good & Evil with Ubisoft Connect and Denuvo DRM like Yves Guillemot invested. It's a WASTE OF MONEY! F@#K that!

Conclusion, the game is f@#king old and it's a g0ddamn mess. I would not recommend for nostalgia sake. But if you want nostalgie, get the PS3 Trilogy by dusting up that console in your old shelf or RPCS3 Emultator if you're desperate. I wouldn't recommend GOG and Ubisoft Connect versions either, since it's identical to Steam, but only it's forced the executables for WinXP that cause audio bug in some cases. So again, CONSOLE!

The patch above address some issues. I doubt it'll help, but if you persistently or desperately wanna experience it ONLY ON PC, I recommend to use the patch above. Keep in mind, the issue may vary.

You know what, Go to PCGamingWiki of T2T[www.pcgamingwiki.com] instead, so you can analyze the issue yerself. The game is DRM-FREE if you open the game through POP3.exe, but Settings may be lost if you play it. Also, if you see the Unofficial Patch section, it's not recommend for someone on Steam Deck/Controller users. The patch is still on-going, but progress is slow.

Another tip; if you play on a controller and you move your left analog and sees Prince walking instead of running, well that's because the game has a deadzone sensitivity. So before you start the game, go to Gamepad and set the Gamepad Speed to 1.25 for Wired Users or if you're a wireless controller like myself, set it to full 2.00.

8/10 for the Game
4/10 for it's technical issues.

Also, F@#K Yves Guillemot & Frédérick Duguet, I hope their stock crash for investing sh!tty DRM on their newer games.
