Clearly a person who has already had their heart pierced and all the love has drained out. Leaving the comments open is a way for them to grab desperately onto attention, even if negative attention is the only thing they have left. It's not really pity, per se, but a different kind of sadness created by this kind of soul. It's honestly a shame because this behavior creates a toxic cycle that only centres and radiates from themselves, shielding them from any kind of help to try and grasp back at happiness.
