It's fun, go in blind and make a fruit salad. Beat up ppl with a frying pan and go nuts. Don't take the game seriousily just sit back and enjoy.

Edit: After putting over 80 hours in I wanted try to convince you to try it with a openmind. [This is all my opinion]

I own both overwatch and Paladins keep putting more and more hours into paladins, why? because it fixes some of the frustrating things about overwatch.

First Paladins has more a little more depth, there are items and cards that play a major role on your character. Your cards that you equip before a game effect your skills wheather they now heal or lower cooldown and so on. If there is a champion on the enemey team with heavy sheild you can buy a upgrade that destryos sheilds faster and so on.

Second, ultimates are not the end all be all of games, yea your ultimate is powerful, but it wont wipe the entire enemey team with no counter play. If you feel the enemey has a powerful ult you can build defense for that round.

Third, you dont get forced into a role you dont want to play. This is a good and bad, you cant change your character after you lock it in for the entire game. In overwatch I always had to fill the role that people didn't want to play or get flamed. In paladins you you build your team comp before you enter the game and its set. Otherwise you spend the entire game trying to counter the enemey team's team comp instead of just having fun.

Paladins is its own game, once you play it you will notice the difference within a couple rounds.

Great game hours of fun with friends definity worth the buy!
