Good game. I would absolutly recomend that people download it. I am a big pubg guy and I will remain one. But that being said this game is a really fun change of pace. Lots of fun to be had with the snowboards and gliders for sure. and it is nice to start with a weapon.

THINGS THE GAME NEEDS TO WORK ON.
Please for the love of god add true leaning. Please please please! I understand if you want to have auto peek an option. Cool. but let us do it manually too. its really frustrating to have to have it either automated OR run around a corner. Really needs to be adressed.

Let people change the color of their hair without changing hairstyle. Yea this is minor but it is rather jarring. Having such a wonderful character creation screen. one that puts most games to shame tbh it is weird that you cannot do something many people would consider basic. additionally more tattos and allowing people to change the color of them would be amazing.

Weapon balance PUBG is a game of many faults. I love the game to death but I will openly admit that. One area where it absolutly has this game smoked however is weapon balance. The guns in this game feel inconsistant. They also do not seem to be very well balanced in regard to each other.

Vehicle physics. this may just be a design choice that differs from my personal prefrence but I personally belive the vehicles feel to grounded. even when you are driving at odd angels they stay very planted on their tires. This also does allow for some fun "skyrim horse" moments as well so i understand if it stays this way and really don't mind. just something I thought to point out.

The climbing kit. The climbing kit in comparison with the others feels very underwhelming. I think this is largly due to the fact that so many rockfaces that are readily avalible and seem like you should be able to climb you simply cannot. That was a big irritation for me. That beind said snowboarding is awesome in this game so its not like i would oft be using the climbing gear anyway. But it really does seem an oversight.

THINGS THIS GAME DOES GREAT
the opening of the game is really neat. I love the fact that you can pick where you start and it gives a kinda chess like feel to the begining of the game. you can try to fake out other teams and players as well as see where your compititon starts. i think this is a very fresh and cool dynamic to battle royal. It is a nice chage of pace from the big two (fortnite and PUBG)

level design. This game's level design is nothing short of phenominal. The number of ways to get up on roofs is great. The vistas are sepctacular. The little things like the camp tents around add extra flavor and apeal. I have not played a game with level design this wonderful in a long time. Even one of my favorite single player shooters Wulfenstien which is filled with great visuals and fun to play through levels is not quite as good as this. the map is well thought out and incredbly interesting to interact with especally with the three starting kits

Character creation. While as i said it does have a very glaring absence which my entire group lemented over, the character custimization is wonderful. it is some of the best custimization I have played with recently and I enjoy the ability to even shape the characters facial achatecture and add expressions. I look forward to even more options being added in the future.

Snowmobiles. One of the things that struck me about snowmobiles is the fact that you can shoot while driving one. I love this. I honeslty think PUBG should have done with with its motorcycles and vespas. I think this is a magnificent touch and It really is something I enjoy.

final zone. The helecopter extraction really adds a diffrent dynamic to the final zone and sets it apart from the big two. I think this is honesty a far superior way of handling it and leads to more interesting final fights. This is a wonderful touch that really helped cement the game for me.

OVERALL. Overall I think this game is a hell of a lot of fun. I look forward to seeing it progress and even bought the founders pack. I hope that you do take into consideration some of what I have mentioned as yall have said you are looking for feedback. I do love the game and I would love to see more maps and game modes added to it in the future after all the kinks are worked out. Keep up the good work and also see if you cant convince blue hole to add the excellent prone functionality this has to pubg. I know yall own a chunk of them. XD.

I love the game and have racked up over 2k hours in it. Why do I love it? Its a game that is all about freedom. You can do whatever you want and your own creativity is what helps you solve problems. It also punishes mistakes severly and rewards hard work. It in alot of ways can be used to teach real life skills. I have applied much of the mindsets and interpersonal skill i have learned workin with other tribes and my own to real life and vice versa.
should you buy the game?
well to be honest that depends. To answer it i must ask another question.
Are you playing by yourself or with friends?
By yourself: ark is a horribly hard time consuming and near impossible task on your own. you can spend hours, days, and months of time playin ark solo and not really get anywhere. If you are playing solo in reality the hope is to get yourself big enough and impressive enough that someone who runs a tribe see you and recruits you. Ark alone is hell.
Playin WITH friends: playing with friends is wonderful. Tons of crazy things happen all the time. The grind is much easier and less painful. you can accomplish the fun content of end game. its overall a fantastic experience. If you have a group of buddies all looking to play the game who are willing to commit a large ammount of time then you will have a blast.

SO should you buy it? If you have a group or think you can find one, AND are willing to sink you time in, AND are willing to endure harsh punishment and work hard to reap great rewards. YES hands down YES. its well worth $60. this game has given me more enjoyment and frustration than anything else i have ever played. you gotta take the good times with the bad and be willing to try over and over. somedays it sucks but the good days make the bad days worth it. Is it a grind. yes is the grind worth it? IMO hell yeah as long as you have a friend group to play with.
