So i bought this game in September 2013, when it was still a dutch auction. This game is one that anything can happen, you can be walking along the beach naked and interact with the weirdest or most interesting people. Yes there are alot of salty kids who are angry at life and chose to let it loose on games like this.

But those perfect moments of finding yourself in situations which can be found nowhere else make this one of the best games ever made. I have seen the game and community change so much. At the start believe it or not but people wouldn't kill on site, this was when there were only 3 servers and you had to run the game from a web browser. People would come up and talk to you, you could make friends and build a little community. Then came the salt and it came in high destructive waves. The 10 nakeds huddled around a single campfire singing songs, rapping or making jokes were massacred, the tbagging and ♥♥♥♥ talk became precedent.

Then came the new rust, which was the experimental version. This is the rust we know today. There is so much in this game now, constant updates and a roadmap which is slowly but surely being completed. As of writing this i have 2-3k hours before steam and about 2k on steam combined from 3 accounts. I would, despite the toxic community, highly recommend this game to anyone. There are so many moments that make the toxicity worth putting up with.
