If you loved the previous titles, you will love this one.
The most fundemental changes to the core game are the way you character develops and the way power armor is used. This is done in a way I as a first hour Fallout fan (as in Fallout 1) am completely content with.
The additional content surrounding building communities is very cool aswell and makes sure you have something to do end-game other then achievement and quest hunting.
The game is apocalypticly huge, and there is plenty to do which makes this game have extremely good value for money.

What I didn't like so much is that Bethesda promised to improve combat. They somewhat have but on the PC there is an extremely noticable lag between my mouse input and what happens on screen which throws my aim way off. Expecting this has something to do with V-Sync but this cannot be turned off. Nor can FOV be changed. This was also the case with previous titles but I very much hoped they finally fixed that. They don't seem to have changed the engine so the usualy Bethesda glitches are still there as they are in every Bethesda game.
The interface is also obviously designed with consoles in mind and is far from optimal for PC gamers.
