A true old-school RPG that pits you against foes, puzzles and threats of all kinds while being incredibly tongue-and-cheek. My great love for this game mostly stems from how generic the setting is, funnily enough. You are actually sent on a "great quest", while you solve fairly menial problems for a bunch of people. It lacks a lot of the grandness other stories of chosen ones so happily promote, and that makes the connection to a normal lad turned into a toad, finding out who's responsible for a murder spree in the city, or haggling to get more money for rat tails so much more meaningful.
