The game reaks of being unfinished/rushed. There's no way they're going to finish it because it's taking them too long with little patches nevermind major things. They still haven't corrected the low quality cutscenes. It needs another year. I'm guessing they'll release the DLC, fix major bug(s) and be done with it.

Messing around gets old quickly, the missions are boring and the world is bland and uninteresting. The story is worse.


It has very few redeeming qualities.

+The ambient style music playing during wingsuit
+The new gadgets (even though they're useless outside of messing around)
+ Easter eggs
+Secondary fire

-Story is generic and uninteresting as it gets.
-Eye rollingly dull script and cutscenes.
-Dated graphics - They advertised this as a "Real Technical Achievement".
-No grenades/C4 or pistols.
-Wingsuit mod doesn't have the mini gun, you cannot set off from the ground or roll boost in the air.
-Lots of the same motors.
-Bikes stil handle badly.
-Uninteresting "world."
-Less destruction than 3.
-Liberation - gone.
-Humour - gone (I don't nind a serious tone but this was ♥♥♥♥♥♥).
-Weather/twister gets old fast.
-Challenges are massively lacking in creativity.
-Main missions/side missions are same y and boring.
-Many people are still getting crashes well a month after release.

I'll finish my review when the game is finished.

My memory doesn't serve me well, I can only remember snippets of the previous games. I don't recall them being so unsatisfying. Maybe too much of the same becomes stale. It doesn't help how embarrassing cheesy the story/characters/cutscenes are.



I recently got a PS4 (here comes the uncharted comparison) and played Uncharted 4, these games are painfully similar. Taking inspiration from one another over time. The main pro Uncharted had going for it was its characters and story. However, I was sick of the "gameplay" and tired of the over the top set pieces by the end.


Steam really needs a 50/50 option. Shadow certainly isn't a bad game but one I doubt I'd come back to.

As mentioned, it is a sad time when an port /PC version of a game that runs well, or in this case VERY WELL is a surprise.

I am on a i5 760 4.01GHz ~ 770 4GB GTX ~ 8GB and wasn't sure what to expect asides from the worst...I can run maxed out. 60-150(?) fps.

. I'm not usually a huge fan of the open world/RPG genre since you're wasting hours doing similar again and again which is what you'll be doing. At the same time it is fun when you level up. The story/script isn't hugely gripping or engaging (borderline boring). Some interesting characters mainly your side-kick.

Performance: 10/10
Voice Acting: 10/10
Core Gameplay (excluding rpg griding): 8/10
Story: 7/10

Team Fortress Classic is a Valve-developed mod that was originally released with a Half Life patch. Back in the day, when men were men, women were nervous, and Medics were faster than Scouts, it ruled the FPS scene with Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, and Counter-Strike.

Now, only a handful of people play it, and most mentions of it are from Team Fortress 2 fanboys that hate it because it doesn't have WACKY ZANY STEREOTYPICAL PIXAR REJECTED CHARACTERS, item whoring and it is too difficult for them to understand.
