Thymesia is really fun for the most part—great combat, a dark, moody world, and progression that actually feels rewarding. I was hooked pretty much the whole time.

The only real gripe is Varg’s tutorial challenge. Every time you fail—or even get 2 hits—you have to restart the challenge from scratch, replacing your old save. It’s not that it’s hard, just… super annoying.

Other than that, it’s a fantastic game and definitely worth playing.

"Dead game at this point. What a shame."

This game used to be the best action MMO out there — fast-paced combat, a thriving community, and loads of content. Now? It’s a ghost town. What once felt alive is now completely stagnant. It’s honestly sad to see how far it’s fallen. A real shame.

Like most Korean MMOs, it's heavily pay-to-win. While the gameplay can be fun, the focus on monetization is overwhelming. If you want to obtain items in-game without paying, the drop rates are ridiculously low. Honestly, it feels like even the advertised drop rates might not be entirely accurate.

The game starts off slow, but it progressively becomes more enjoyable as you begin to explore the open world.

Pros:
Engaging Exploration: After the initial hour, the world becomes more fun to traverse, with its vast, open environments offering opportunities for discovery.
Skill Variety: Combat offers a wide range of skills, allowing for diverse combat strategies and experimentation, which keeps fights dynamic.
Cons:
Repetitive Enemies: A major drawback is the limited enemy variety. You often find yourself fighting the same types of monsters repeatedly, which can make battles feel monotonous over time.
Treasure Marking Issues: There's a problem with the map system—treasures marked from viewpoints don’t always appear on the map when you open it, making tracking them down more frustrating than it should be.
