A game where the simplicity in graphics makes it beautiful.
Fun game even on your own, but being with others makes it even better.

ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos is another title from MyDearest that does an entirely new take on VN. That is, VN in VR.
Do note that the game is a VN and not a game as you may come to believe when you hear Giant mech battles.
The game is fully voiced both on english and japanese. The voice acting in the game is excellent and it puts a further layer of depth into this fully immersive experience of a VN in VR. While there isnt much interactions across the game, its story is exceedingly immersive as every choice matters, and it gives different dialogue, and in some cases an entirely different ending. There's been paid a lot of focus on the sound design and they've made 40 soundtracks that are all used well in the game to enforce the storytelling, wheter its to be silly, action-filled or emotional, and it clearly made the experience way better.
The dialogue in the game is well written, causing emotions like laughter or tears to appear at times. While the first ending may appear too short and you may think thats all, it isnt. This is where the story truly begins. After first playthrough, the story truly expands in many branches and a lot of choices make big differences in the story, which branches out the story, and increases the replayability time and time again, and if you didnt like your choice, you can go back in time using the "Ariadne" system to try the other choices.
If you like a good story in a visual novel, you will love this. If you like action however, it might not be too much into your taste, as the game is very dialogueheavy and doesnt include much exitement in the form of action (altho the mech battles are nice).
Personally i loved every moment spent in the game, and i hope they will release the OST soon, as the music is amazing.

What to say about this game but amazing?
Despite the game being free, It is actually amazing, both gameplay and graphicswise.
While microtransactions can occur ingame, it is without doubt nothing you need to move on ingame, but rather a way to support the developers as you can easily get the Platinium back by trading with other players.

There's only one way to describe this game : AWESOME and the DLC's are more like real games than DLC's
