They should add DarksydePhil to the game. He shouldn't be able to run fast, and when you press buttons nothing should happen most of the time.

I was a little skeptical about this franchise reboot, but I'll just jump to the chase and say that this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules! The gameplay is as good as it ever was, it controls tightly, the graphics and art direction are amazing, the music rocks, the story is captivating, and the voice acting is right on point. It's an instant classic in my mind.

I can say that, as someone who previously worked as a professional ninja for a number of years, this game does a great job of representing the trade.

It's like R-Type, but not quite as good. Still, I enjoy it.

This game makes so little sense, but it's amazing. It's like the games Gradius, Canabalt, and Asteroid had some weird three-way and produced a baby. I've played 90-minutes of it so far and still have no idea what the hell is happening most of the time. But in a fun way. It's what I imagine doing too much acid and then getting electrocuted whilst playing Gradius is like. I've never managed to do those 3 things in a combination like that, but you get the idea. The control is tight, the game is pretty, and the music kicks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass. I mean, I don't really like techno since I'm not a nerd, but still. Sounds good.

Excellent 2D shooter with an interesting time-attack mechanic on each stage that varies enemy placement and even how many bosses you face. An improvement over the PS3 version due to the frequent patching it recieves.
