Early Access Review
So, I've seen multiple gameplay videos about the game and I wasn't sure. So I decided to try the demo and it was good but I still wasn't sure if I wanted to get the game or not. So I decided to let it go for now. The next day, I find myself wanting to go back in so I purchase the game. That was a very good decision.

The only "bug" I've encountered so far is huge frame drop at random moments in the game. I have a good computer and maxed graphics. Everything runs smoothly except when my FPS drops from 60 to 2-4 and sometimes, the game freezes.

Edit after a few hours:
After playing a few consecutive hours, I got continuous frame drop. The more I played, the worst it got, little by little.

Also, a few other "bugs" I encountered: Hairs and beards clipping through the face, also clothing clipping through.

I still enjoy the game very much.

When starting the demo, you are greeted with Danheim's music in the main menu, which is amazing. I love Danheim and the ambiance fit perfectly. The music is also in the game, the only downside is that it doesn't feel like it's mixed right. In the way that some track just fade out in the middle and there is no coherency. They could have created a nice mix that would flow through the game as you play.

The combat is good but not great. It's janky and simply but hard to master. The parry system is nice, you can totally avoid damage if you block with the right timing so it makes you want to understand the weapon type you use and get good with it. I play on hard difficulty and damn, you get easily get two shot. It's annoying but great at the same time.

The world is really nice but a bit janky too. Like a cart that clip through a dead horse on the road. A house that is too low into the ground to make sense. A door way blocked by the plank that leads to the entrance so you have to crouch when you go in (but you are ok when you exit). It's nothing major but little details like these are still present in multiple places.
But I must also add that they have really nice attention to details and they know how to make exploration fun. I wanted to test exploration immediately when I started the game and it is possible. Little treasures and bits of loot hidden everywhere. It's not important if the loot is super valuable or not, it can simply be crafting mats but knowing that your exploration is rewarded in a way that make sense is great and too little "open world" games understand that.
To me, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon understand that and they nailed it.

So far, all npcs are voice acted and it makes the game much more enjoyable in my opinion. Again, little details that make the world more alive.

And finally, a game that understand that weight limit in a game like this doesn't have to be so realistic. You can carry a lot of stuff before finding yourself overburden and that is great. I can loot to my heart's content with enjoyable limitations.

This game feels like the old Gothic series back in the days. Good exploration with a jank that makes the game unique and fun. I was looking for a RPG like this for a long time and I'm glad that I found this one.
