Masangsoft is known for being scummy, amateur and always doing crazy decisions, it is a management problem that is on every game they release or publish and GunZ is not an exception. Imagine not hiring someone that actually communicate and speak english on their Discord or ingame. Whole playerbase in the dark, even their ''creators'' aka streamers, they are literally getting the treatment Amazon Game Studios did for their creators on Lost Ark/New World, feed them crumbs, shut up or get banned from the ''partnership'' that looks more like slavery. From the top to bottom, this company will never change, one of the worst out there management and quality wise.

- This version has been released without at least 70% of official GunZ and I am not even considering private servers since they have so many cool stuff there, QoL or custom items/maps/modes etc. If you don't pay real $, you are just cosplaying some kpop group with how little to none customization items it has and they are also poorly made.

- AI everywhere;

- Translation is all over the place and I hope it was not a human that did it because if it was, you are literally locking them in some sort of Dark & Darker dungeon without any pay or food, there is no way an ''official'' game re-release from a company would be this bad at translating things to english, I play multiple indie games that have been bought 100 times max and they have waaaaaaay better translation, private servers are also way ahead of this;

- UI is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for no reason, it seems that amateur companies have a hard on in changing old UI that worked to a new one using AI to make the most uninspired thing I ever seen, changing for the sake of changing;

Masangsoft have released this game full of bugs that we had on multiple closed/open betas, trying to connect to a match is one of them, it is still here but now you have to wait 10s to 1 minute until your character appears inside the match OR you can't connect/play at all. It feels like people 10+ years ago trying to fix their private servers at release because they were learning how GunZ code worked back in the day. It is 2026 Masangsoft and I thought you would at least pay people to develop the game to create new things and not mix and match 90% with AI while underpaying your devs, because I can't in my right mind understand how you released such a mess with so little QoL's that private servers have and you did not even tried to learn from them.

I literally just login to create my characters and get my nicknames, maybe I will be memeing here and there in free for all or tdm's because of new people playing. IF a miracle happens and this company change from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to pizza, maybe in a year this game will be playable and will have actual design style that look like with the original GunZ, me personally just think this game will die in first few months if I am being positive here because if not it won't last a month, people that really want to play the game even without being in a official way will just go back to private servers.

ASS WE CAN

Black Ops Royale is the same as Warzone 2 but reskinned to say it is closer to Blackout. It is more colorful, there is still a lot of buildings and doors which is obviously ♥♥♥♥ since most people hated them in Warzone, a few more "missions/objectives" to do, zombies are a fun objective but it will get stale fast.

Same ♥♥♥♥ as Battlefield 6 and its Battle Royale, need to activate Secure Boot and Tpm 2.0. Instead of paying actual humans and an proper anticheat, they automate with these weird ♥♥♥♥ that you have to fix yourself within your BIOS(or even buy a new motherboard), then the whole game gets weird bugs, bad optimization and in 1 week max it is flooded with cheaters again. Just like what happened with Warzone 2 and one month after the first Warzone.

At least you could play Warzone easily and it was way more fun first few months since it was something new and not recycled from its predecessors.

I am guessing this is them being desperate after the mess of Warzone 2 and releasing an Warzone 3 but calling Black Ops Royale and creating a reskin, it is not even close to Blackout.

Indeed a "Definitive Edition", Definitive Edition to bury this abomination underground and never look at it again.

Game still has no South America server.

I will change this review to positive if naraka devs add SA server.

Crytek raised prices for new DLC's(it's worse in countries that do not use dolar/euro) even if these new DLC's have same or even worse content than the old ones, this is crytek new "model" of microtransactions since people still buy it, well... I got mine from a giveaway just to not recommend this one too.

If you want this DLC that much, just try to get for free or for the same price of the old DLC's in some sort of bundle.

If people still think that they need to make money, ask yourself first where this money is going, game still has a lot of Early Access bugs(desync, hit registration, reload bug, yes reload bug exists even after patch 1.12, they claimed to fix it but they actually just bandaid fix, there is just a low chance that happens now and there is so many more bugs), one of the worst things is their servers, each 1~2 months servers get worse, I just refuse to pay overpriced stuff and even more when the devs just doesn't care about quality of game but quantity of DLC's for easy money.

TL;DR at the end.

So, here is the lore... My friend and I wanted this DLC because of the design of it, but we were afraid after the Concubine/New DLC's price change, then I saw the price of Frau Perchta DLC and started laughing because we were correct to be afraid of Crytek pricing changes, every DLC crytek is selling now they are increasing the price with excuses to that increase, even when the game has DLC's that has almost if not more than this one for a much lower price.

Where I live is even worse, for you guys they jumped from 5~10USD DLC's to 15USD over the course of the years, I live in Brazil and here Hunt is priced at 89BRL right now without any sale, Frau Perchta DLC right now is 47BRL after the price changes from Steam, Steam gave developers the freedom to choose their price accordingly within the country currency so Crytek made this change, EVERY single DLC before Frau Perchta/The Concubine(33BRL) was 10BRL to 20BRL without sales and I can see this phenomena going worldwide, a lot of countries getting fisted just like you guys are(even if comparing USD to everything else since it's less extreme 5~10USD to 15USD right now).

This DLC is expensive as hell so is The Concubine even in USD, thats why I entered a giveaway from a streamer that I won't name it and won instead, do not buy this abomination.
