This game is apparently the sequel to Gladiator Trainer, which might have originally been called Crown Champion (which is written on Gladiator Trainer's Trading Cards). Set about 300 years after the prior game, this game deals with another age of turmoil where someone lower on the social ladder might be able to rise up and reach new heights... through managing the arena.

The gameplay is somewhat similar, so you simply equip your fighters, help their morale, and set them loose in tournaments. There are also events that happen from time to time.

One engine destroyed, a second broken and a third is on fire. My engineer fell off the wing while trying to fix the second engine. One gunner is down and my plane is barely holding together as fighters continue shooting more holes into it. Fuel has leaked out of one of the fuel tanks and I don't have enough to get me back to the airbase.

I finally make the call and ask the crew members to bail out. There wasn't enough parachutes for everyone, and the pilot is now alone on the plane, with an injured gunner in the back. All hope is lost.

But then we see the enemy fighters turning back, we've finally made it back to friendly territory. The pilot prepares for an emergency landing on friendly soil. Only one side of the landing gear deploys, the other must have been shot doing in the fight. We reach the ground, and the plane comes down hard - but we are alive.

Back at base, the pilot and gunner cannot believe they survived. They are now anxiously waiting to see if any of the crew that bailed out over the water will make it back alive.

Finally, they receive word that the navigator and radio operator has made it back. The others...well they weren't so lucky.

Forbidden Planet is sci-fi rogue-like strategy tower defense, which is awesome for casual playing. Graphic is decent, music is enjoyable.

Recommended, original tower defense. Based on real events. Rome took up arms against Antony and Cleopatra. Our task - with our towers and the forces of Egyptian magic - is to stop the invasion.

+ Classic old school side-scrolling gameplay
+ Exciting Retro soundtrack
+ Fast and fluid gameplay with a myriad of techniques and varied weapons;
+ Gorgeous pixel art cinematics
+ Unlock art and background information on the game
+ An engaging storyline
+ Over 20 endings available based on the choices you make in the game

If you like retro games like Megaman or Contral, you will love Cataegis: The White Wind too, a fast placed action game with good graphics and also multiple endings...

Points generate troopers and you can send them out, simply but a fun game. When I play this game, I remember the game Contra on PS2

Despite the mixed reviews, Inexistence is a decent "metrodvania-style" platformer. Short and fairly easy, just the way I like it (with the added bonus of secret chests and a few collectibles in the form of golden puzzle pieces).
Even though the game outright says it's optimized for a controller, keyboard controls work smoothly and feel responsive. You can also customize the key-binds, which should be standard but is actually somewhat rare with indie games these days.

All in all, Inexistence is charming, visually pleasing and enjoyable experience. Can recommend!

12 Labours of Hercules is the best Time Management game I've ever played. The extremely tight tuning, flexibility of play and excellent presentation makes the game incredibly fun and rewarding, especially for those who aim for perfection.

As with other titles in the genre, you're tasked with completing a set of goals in order to proceed to the next level. While the goals vary, the general concept is the same; collect resources and construct buildings to beat the timer. Efficiently managing your workers is at the heart of the gameplay, although it's by no means necessary if you want to play more casually, but doing so adds strategic depth to what is in essence a very simple game. Ultimately, the more effort you put into challenging yourself, the more reward you'll get out of it.
