Solasta feels like playing a good campaign of DnD with your friends, just without the friends and the bad jokes. Or good jokes, depending on your group, I guess.
Yes, the game doesn't look amazing and sometimes controls or the camera can be slightly clunky, but the gameplay is great. The story is nice, the characters interesting, combat is great. Solasta is challenging and tbh the final fight is unnecessarily hard, but other than that the game is/was so enjoyable to me that I'll probably get the DLCs soon and start another run before Solsata II releases.
