I've tended to avoid Battleship designs - mostly due to the tremendous amount of time needed to build them. Have you checked out https://www.reddit.com/r/FromTheDepths/ ? There are a ton of great people there, and some of them build great battleships. Hit me up with a steam chat, if you've got some specific questions. Or post them on the FtD Subreddit (liked above).
