FF16 is an absolute gem of a game. I loved the characters, the story, settings, combat, and music. This FF is second only to 14 imo in terms of story and a close second at that.

Necesse is an amazing survival game. The progression is very fun and typical of the genre in the early/mid game. Then, the game switched to an almost ARPG maps style of endgame progression and it's great. Their is a settlement system that has some automation elements. Builds are fun, and pretty varied. The bosses are all a treat, and I felt like the balance was quite good. Loved it. Will def be back for another run at some point.

Easily the best game in its genre. Rogue: Genesia is addicting as hell and beyond fun. The levels of power the player can get to is absolutely insane.

Probably, the best RPG I have ever played. Mechanically, it's tight and the character building is extremely satisfying. The game's music and environments excel to an amazing degree, and the story is satisfying and full of emotion. Can't recommend it enough.

Abiotic Factor is a bit of a rough gem, but overall a very solid game with a lot of atmosphere.

Pretty good game. Absolute crack at the start, but the balance is pretty lacking. 90% of items are useless because they get outscaled by a handful of relics/weapons. Not sure if that's typical of the genre as this is my first one besides the temporary LoL mode. Probably should have more than one boss that is palette swapped. Seems like an easy fix since they don't have animations or mechanics at all. Good luck playing the game without a slow CC weapon on hand btw. You need it for the bosses and you'll need it for the waves. Overall, Fantasy Survivors is a fun way to kill some time and easily worth 7$. Just don't expect a ton of polish going in.

V Rising is my favorite survival game ever so far. Stunlock is a company I'm very familiar with. I've always enjoyed their games, but they never really popped off sadly. This game though is a masterpiece. Variable settings allow you to tweak your server to your preferences (though I beat the game on base gathering multiplier and didn't feel the grind was bad). The combat is precise and challenging. The brutal difficulty is chef's kiss. The bosses (in addition to gaining stat boosts) all have new moves on Brutal, and they are insane. The customization for your character is deep with things like differing armor set bonuses, blood types, spells, spell mods, ultimates. The aesthetic is peak and really ties the whole thing together. It also helps that Castlevania is one of my childhood favorite series, and they have official Castlevania bosses/skins. The final boss (Dracula) is almost worth the price of admission alone. Dude took a friend and I around 5 hours to beat. It felt akin to some of the hardest souls bosses, and I adore that. Easy recommended and I know I'll be back one day to challenge the dark lord again.

Early Access Review
Insanely good for an ARPG. Aesthetics are off the charts. From the boss fights to the music and enemy design, the game excels at all of them.

A co-op game that requires minimum 4 people to play. A pvp mode with a 24 high of 100 people. Devs should be embarassed.

I liked it ALMOST as much as the first one. Considering I loved the first game, that's saying something. Nice little skill tree. Nice music. Nice combat. Unfortunately, a meh story. Really wish the devs would have survived. They didn't deserve to go under.
