i'm not one to write long reviews or even good reviews but wow, just finished up my 3rd route of the game (Enforced route order so Eru's route being 3rd)

The writing for the game is spectacular, has me hooked the entire duration of the visual novel.
The soundtrack always fits perfectly with all the scenes in it!
The artwork is really smooth and well drawn especially for the CG Scenes later on in the routes
The H-Scenes are well written not your average "Moe Moe Kyun"-based Scenes Eru's H scenes are absolutely amazing (don't skip them please)
The personality's of each character is so different so you never find yourself stuck with "2 of the same character" in your main heroine list you always feel as if each character has there own personality throughout it

The game is just full of mysteries going deeper and deeper into the routes with each route being different from eachother sofar by a large margin

I highly recommend if you're looking for a good story with less on the romance-school Plot like your average Erogame and more into the mystery and drama instead!

Rushes through 9 years of content in 1~ year then abandons it for a sequel game that gets very slow content drops, and "current" end game just asks you to sit around for 30 mins to a few hours waiting for a storm boss... which is completely RNG-based

Ah yeah they also removed player shop (auction house) for F2P players, so yeah.... one of the main systems completely gone for Free to plays...

I went into this game with mixed feelings due to IMHHW's writer, Yet it has honestly been a absolute blast,
-The soundtrack is incredible coming from the amazing Matsumoto Fuminori known for his Sakura no uta and Grisaia series Soundtracks
-Character design and styling has a unique visual look which makes them stand out from each other giving a brilliant look overall
-And The voice acting is done incredibly well!, Atri's noises throughout the visual novel are incredibly heartwarming at all times! (BECAUSE SHE'S TOO DAMN ADORABLE)

The story is really a mixed bag at my current progress since it's Enjoyable thanks to the characters but it's plot almost 8 hours in is kinda uhh yeah very unnoticeable but that doesn't stop people from enjoying it, myself included. i think each characters writing is very well-done, each built up with different personalities yet perfected to a point where you will learn to love them all throughout your play time.

Would i recommend this, As an AA (All ages visual novel) Yes! the price for it is very fair for what the Visual novel offers

Edit: 12 hours in and i finally finished the visual novel, and the story improved greatly in the final moments, such a bittersweet story definitely a good ending!

For the price, and length... it's not worth it, i guess...

3.3 hours to complete it, a very small pool of CG's, No NSFW content (meaning it's a SFW vn, not a Eroge),

scene transitions/cuts are really badly done/Too instant/Make you think they could have added some more content in each cut and not make it such a sudden switch between scenes/chapters

Story is kinda mediocre, gets boring pretty fast with not much going on,

The only good thing i have to say is some of the OST's are semi-decent - Good Title screen/ED OST

So yeah, IMO not worth it, unless you're willing to support SP and code:jp with this purchase

Edit: forgot to mention - Visual novel's performance is very poor when running with effects on (and has issue's when you turn them off as well, hopefully that gets fixed)

Just finished my 14th route of the game, and what i can say about the game and the EN translation is

The visual novel as a whole : It's a pretty good experience to a mystery/romance-based VN, multiple characters with multiple routes that include NSFW scenes! And Bad endings, interesting story telling at points, each of the characters backstory's and "why they was abandoned" become explained,

Personally Michiru and Chisha's real route's are the "goto" for this visual novel, the more enjoyable routes out of the bunch storywise, though you may like the twins and Tsumugi's route's if you're a lolicon

Now for the EN translation...
It sucks, Like absolutely, It's not MTL level of garbage, but it's low, A lot of the sentences are mistranslated, there's a lot of errors in name's (I.E giving names [] rather than the actual name of "said" character), Sometime's line's get completely skipped due to the visual novel bugging!, I'd say it's readability is there if you're able to deal with a lot of broken English, it's totally understandable due to the company being a Chinese company, can't expect Nekonyan level of English translation from SakuraGame

I'm also displeased that the visual novel stated "Built in flowchart" over on VNDB, but that's nowhere to be found, Along with "Extra mode" being locked the entire VN, even after 100% route completion, it will only light up like it's accessible if you click "load latest save" tab from title screen.

I do recommend this visual novel if you're willing to overlook all the fault's in the english translation.

i've been waiting a long time (Multiple years) to finally play this game as japanese is not a strong point of mine, Despite the large amount of mis-translations / typesetting errors, the game is still readable so i have no complaints because of that!

Currently 8.7 hours into the story and i've only hit Scene 41 in the story out of 219 (possibly less because there is no NSFW scenes in this version) so it gives off the idea that the visual novel is pretty long, i'd say 30 hours if i go for all routes (?)

A large thankyou to the company despite how much hate they are getting for there translations, i do hope they continue to translation more visual novels in the future because even whilst it's sometimes hard to understand, the fact that i can read it is still great!

ps: momiji is bestgirl

Update: 27 hours into this visual novel and i finally completed the main story!, my god am i overwhelmed by the story, one of the most brilliant and emotional ending's i have come across in a while from visual novels

This visual novel offers a brilliant experience for anyone who can play through the entire story!

ps2: Sakura > Momiji now, Sakura is the best girl!

Get this game if you happen to enjoy slowpaced JRPG franchises//Or if you have played the previous Mysterious series Atelier games

-A Huge improvement to gameplay compared to Firis and Sophie,
-A more indepth story (It's actually gotten really sad as of my current stage in the game)
-Very well-designed main characters, both lydie and suelle along with other Side-characters (i'm pretty fond of Alt)
-A very good bunch of VA's (We have the voice actor for Kenpachi zaraki (from bleach) doing the voice for Hagel the smithing store shop owner)
-6 person combat is very enjoyable compared to the previous Mysterious 3 person combat
-They're not using the same exact enemies from Firis/Sophie, They have quite a few new mobs which is great to see!

The only thing i have to be honest about is £45 Seems "Slightly" overpriced for the game, But if you happen to be a true fan of the atelier franchise that much is fine for what you get, i personally would continue to buy every atelier game for £45 so it's not big deal to me

There is also one bug currently which i encountered once which makes the game run in 50% speed But it's easily fixed by restarting the game

So yeah... i highly recommend this on my own personal notice BUT as there are many references to Firis/Sophie including both being able to join your party i do highly recommend you play through Atelier sophie first, then Atelier firis

For a PC Port of a PS4 game, The Port is amazing,
There is a few visual bugs there and now, but that is expected from a ported game, The game is extremely smooth to the point where it can run on 1.8ghz intel celeron pc's with basically no lag (At some points there is a little drop of FPS)

Currently 3 hours into the story and my god the amount of content the game has shown me currently is insane,

The story is quite simple but it's currently alot of fun
The character's are pretty cool, Good designs cute voice actors, Both english and japanese

Can't really make a good review on the game currently but from what's gone down the game is a brilliant port and it's worth the money!,
