Spellbound Hearts is a short BL visual novel about a vampire cursed to be trapped in a castle and the wizard who's come to seek his aid.

Storywise, the game is so short that there's not much to it, it's fun to read but it's not especially groundbreaking. The art is good, but there's not much variety in what you see on screen (sprites rarely move; there's only 1 CG and it's spoiled on the store page and the library cover).

My biggest complaint is that there's only one ending; normally I wouldn't care much about how many endings there are, but here there are a bunch of choices that seem like they should lead you to a bad ending if you pick them all, but they don't, so if you pick those choices then the story takes a sudden swerve partway through.

The best part of the game by far is the voice acting. Both of the main characters are fully voiced, and both VAs do a really good job at it. They elevate the experience a lot, especially considering how low the price for this game is.
