It's like taking the best of both Sea of Thieves and Helldivers 2. Had a blast playing with friends running wild around the map, finding collectables, finding overpowered weapon and abillity combinations. Surprisingly polished for an early demo. Would love to buy when it comes out.

What a blast this game is. Excellent mechanics and weapon variety to keep things fresh. Starts to get exceedingly difficult past 3 boss cells for me, but at the very least there's an assist mode. Sometimes you just can't "get good" enough. Thank you for not disabling achievements or progression with assist mode, otherwise I'd never be able to see the final ending.

Really fun with friends! The riding mechanic is really cool, but most importantly you can quickly teleport onto them with a hotkey if you find yourself accidentally jumping off the map.

Love the whole gameplay loop where you whack your way around and unlock new animals to transform into, the energy system encouraging you to switch between forms to keep up damage and survivability. The towers were super fun to explore, each one presenting its own set of challenge, though I would've liked to see some puzzles.

The whole skill tree and forge upgrade system was a bit overwhelming, especially since you only have so many skill points and upgrading costs a lot of money, you don't really know if you're going to keep a piece of equipment around for long enough to need to upgrade it. In the end it didn't really matter, as the game was easy enough just button mashing unti we got to the final boss. That was a real challenge.

This game is a product of its time. Clunky controls, bare repetitive gameplay, extremely challenging difficulty scaling. I'm not even kidding about the difficulty. If you're playing this for the first time, you will STRUGGLE to get out of the starting dungeon. Remember to save before even stepping out of the cell, because the game does not autosave as you would expect with any modern game, and you'll have to go through the entire character customisation again if you forget. What class you pick will heavily influence how you need to approach the game, and there's no real easy way to figure it out than to just try.

As with any Elder Scrolls game, you'll need to read absolutely everything. There's no quest markers, everything relies on what the NPCs say and what you have on your journal, oh boy your journal will fill up. Every time you get a new quest it adds it onto the end of your journal, meaning the more you play the more pages you'll need to flip to get to the current quest you're on. Good luck figuring out which ones you've even completed.

Don't even get me started on bugs. You won't expect any patches for a game this old, and it will have issues. After a few hours, menus stop working, graphical glitches will appear, and some NPCs won't give you your quest rewards until you restart the game. Easy to get lost figuring out what to even do since you might not even know if you're talking to the right person. Save often.

Alright that was harsh, this game came out in 1994 after all, so let me pretend I'm some kid in 1994 experiencing this revolutionary new digital RPG game:
- "holy crap you can use magic... YOU CAN MAKE MAGIC TOO?!"
- "look at this cool bow i found, it does so much damage i can one shot those weird lizard people!"
- "yooo im so powerful i can swim through lava pools now"
- "I JUST ONE SHOT JAGAR THARN HAHAHHAHA"

Okay but seriously I did one shot Jagar Tharn. That was funny. This game is so imbalanced once you get your groove. Also the roleplaying factor is hilarious. You can choose to sleep in a suite instead of a single bed, which costs more money and changes absolutely nothing!

Great game, excellent stealth mechanic improvements over Payday 2. Being able to do more without a mask on and having more options rather than being instantly caught is a huge bonus for more versatile play.

UNFORTUNATELY the game needs to matchmake ALL THE TIME. Playing solo? invite only? full lobby with friends already? You need to matchmake. This causes it to take forever to load in and leads to "matchmaking errors" from just restarting the heist. Fix this one issue and I'll give it the thumbs up.

A constant cycle of pain where you spend hundreds of attempts to shave down single digit milliseconds off the time. Would recommend obtaining a cyborg hand before playing to avoid carpal tunnel, otherwise very fun.

Not as cool as the original Mass Effect trilogy but at least you can still bang aliens.

Looks cool, but was barely runnable even on my RTX 3070. Mostly good for screenshots until hardware becomes more affordable.
