Let me say this, some find the joys of this game through quests, some through combat, and others sailing across the vast sea. I however have found the true meaning of this game, fishing. Fishing is all you need.

Honestly this game at times makes me wish I had only spent money on this one because of how immersed I get, and I haven't even gotten past the first year.
