The Wandering Crap
I bought this game on DLsite, because some stupid part of me wants to believe that Ankoku Marimokan would make half decent games on the level of Legend of Kokage and Splatter School, but well... the artstyle has gotten progressively worse and worse over the years. Now, i'm sure the current artstyle is appealing to some, but for me.... it just looks silly.

Now, because the game is of such poor quality, i'm going to copy-paste my Review from DLsite, which, mind you, was marked as "Not permitted for publishing", on a platform that is pro-consumer and cannot remove reviews without good reason, so here it is. I'm not gonna waste time making a fancy review for this one, 'cause it just plain sucks, for the most part.

My simple DLsite Review
I've bought pretty much all of Ankoku Marimokan's works, even titles as old as Legend of Kokage, the first Ouka game, Splatter School, etc(on an old account that I can't remember).

With each game ankoku releases, the worse it gets. With the exception of Signal Forces, all the recent games from UNBREAKER and beyond have just been terrible-- either incredibly buggy, incredibly lacking, or pretty much the same experience from previous Ankoku Marimokan games-- if not ALL OF THE ABOVE.

The Wandering Corrine was at least an improvement from Sword of Ryonasis, but it's still a terribly buggy mess, and the animation and CG quality AND quantity were less than Sword of Ryonasis.

However, unlike Sword of Ryonasis, The Wandering Corrine was actually pretty fun to play. As you progress through the game, you can spend gems you collect on more abilities, which makes the game a lot less frustrating(but still bad)to play.

Honestly, I should stop buying Ankoku Marimokan's works, they've brought me nothing but disappointment in the recent years. I thoroughly enjoyed Kokage and Splatter School, maybe even Splatter Beach, but those times will never return, sadly. I think it's time for me to stop buying games produced by Ankoku Marimokan. Between the progressively worse art quality, the animations and sound effects are the same ones that have been used time and again in Splatter Beach. Nothing ever really changes between games, so why bother?

The game duration was short(1~3 hours).
The graphics are generic/uninspired.
The sound effects are generic/royalty free stuff.
The assets for characters are basically the same since Splatter Beach.

This game is a hard pass unless it's on a good discount. Don't bother with it otherwise.
2/10, it only got +1 extra point from the decent but buggy gameplay.
---------------------------------------------
As an after-note, i'm at least glad Signal Forces is on Steam, though I haven't bothered to buy it(yet). I only bought this one to dump my review that is otherwise hidden on DLsite lol.

For Those Who Dream of Hasoyua's Next Release

I'm glad Egg of the World showed up on Steam, as it is one of my favorite HRPGs to date, alongside Key to the Egg. Senra's artstyle continues to improve, though I will be honest; this game was less appealing to me than Serafina was, but not by much. If it wasn't obvious, i've bought this game elsewhere. As of writing this review, i'm almost done with the First Run Hard+Virgin Clear, which is the same thing I did with Serafina and the Key to the Egg, because i'm stupid like that. Please don't play this game the same way I am, and just enjoy it and the(repetitive)smut the game features. You can find the patch on Kagura Games' website, which a few keystrokes on your favorite browser can easily find.

Anyway, let's begin the review.

THE STORY
Honestly, the synopsis found on the store page cleanly summarizes the story; if I talk about anything that isn't mentioned in the synopsis, it is a MASSIVE spoiler, and you'd do well to just play the game for yourself should you wish to find out. If you don't care about spoilers, read the summary below, as I am not formatting it to hide the spoilers.

Taking off as a mildly direct sequel to Serafina and the Key to the Egg, Egg of the World assumes that Serafina essentially failed her mission, thus causing all sorts of creatures from that dimension(or the past, perhaps?) to this world. Working to rid this world of the creatures, Seraphi and Lilium have to stop Ange from running amok.

THE VISUALS
Almost everything besides the character art for central command's NPCs, the bosses, Serafina, and Lilium(and her friends) are stock RPGmaker stuff. Some rarer than others, but otherwise common stuff you'll see in mostly any other RPGmaker game. For what it's worth, I don't think most people care about the visuals so much as the H content-- it's why we're here, right?

THE AUDIO+BGM
I'm not entirely sure whether all the tracks are standard/royalty-free stuff, but quite a few of the tracks were reused from the previous game(Key to the Egg). Aside from that, all the sound effects and such are basically the standard stuff you can get from RPGmaker. Nothing new or impressive to write about, like usual. There are also no voiceovers, so don't expect any blaring moans during H scenes.

THE H CONTENT
The section you've all been waiting for. As stated, you can find the patch on Kagura Games website, should be easy to find.
The H content in Egg of the World is quite similar to Key to the Egg, for those that have played it. For those who have not, it is mostly:
- Non-con
- Tentacles/Slime
- Milking
- Hypnosis/Brainwashing
- Some Futanari
- Interspecies

... and a lot of bukkake, though it's not like.... Taimanin(or anything made by Lilith) levels of Bukkake, if y'know what I mean.

THE CONCLUSION
All in all, The World's Egg is a pretty short game. If you don't play on Hard, you can probably beat it within 1-2 hours. On Hard, especially if you're going for the Virgin+Hard clear at the same time, you'll have to grind out the same repetitive stages for a couple hours each tier. It gets old fast, but once you complete it, just do subsequent playthroughs as a mega "farming tool", that's where the fun truly lies.

ALSO, FOR WHATEVER REASON, THE GAME RUNS WAY WORSE THAN ITS DLSITE COUNTERPART. I DON'T KNOW WHAT KAGURA GAMES DID, BUT THIS GAME LOADS 3x SLOWER AND IS PRONE TO MILD LOADING LAG.

THE VERDICT
7.5/10, BUY IT WHEN IT'S DISCOUNTED, OR EVEN AT FULL PRICE
If you like any of the tags that I listed under "The H Content", do consider purchasing it; I love Hasoyua's works, so the more money they get, the better for me. Here's to hoping the next release is even better than this one!

... side note, wow, I didn't write as much as I thought I did; at least not as much as I did for Serafina and the Key to the Egg. It's not that the game was bad(well, it kind of is...), it's just.... I prefer my H game protags being Serafina's size, or slightly larger/smaller. There were a lot of boxes ticked, but because the protagonist was just... "average", it didn't quite do it for me on its initial release on DLsite.

EXCELLENT SPRITEWORK IN SHORT CAVE
I've been waiting on this one for a while now, especially since i'm a fan of Namako/Takorin's Sprite work... though i'm not interested in Touhou. Funnily enough, you can rip the save from the demo and put it into this release, and it works just fine. However, don't do that, as it glitches the "Clear all stages" achievement, so you'll have to play through the game again anyway. I'll refrain from saying how long the game is, simply because every other review mentions it, so let's just begin the review.

THE STORY
Simply put, a hole opens up underneath our protagonist, Udonge. There's no escape but to go through the path laid out for her. The story is told to you the moment you hit game start, and is otherwise very barebones, not that i'm complaining; I typically don't care about story, especially not in H-ACT games.

THE GAMEPLAY
In short, it's a hold right simulator. The inputs you get are few, but versatile. You can typically run past every mob and complete each stage in 1-2 minutes, tops. You only need to kill 5 enemies across 3 stages, the rest you can run past-- not counting the stage bosses, of course.

Your inputs are:
Crouch
Double Jump
Neutral/Air neutral attack: Three bullets fired in a random cone area
Crouch/Down attack: close range blasts that are easily spammable and absolutely delete whatever it hits swiftly
Forward Air Attack: similar to crouching attack, but in the air. Makes quick work of boss 1, but don't do it on anything else.

Pretty simple, yeah?

THE AUDIO
Not much to really say here, you basically hear all these sounds in other H games, so stock assets

THE H CONTENT
As I say in all my reviews, this is what you're here for if you're reading this.
The H content is good, though it requires some rather interesting tastes-- if you're a vanilla-type person, most of these fetishes likely won't do it for you. Among the list of tags, there's insect/spider non-con, non-con in general(grape), slimes, a little breast milk, Futanari, a bit of vore, and interspecies of course.

There's a couple other tags, but they're mostly just positions.

If nothing on that list tickles your fancy, you probably won't be interested; look up the animations on your local smut website.

MY PERSONAL ENJOYMENT
It's a fast/short game, but the spritework is fantastic. Did I enjoy the experience? Not really. While i'm interested in a lot of the fetishes included in this one, my biggest incentive on the purchase of this game was to support Takorin, not so much to play this(mediocre)game.

THE VERDICT
5/10
Strictly mediocre experience. I want to give this game a higher score because Takorin's spritework is fantastic, but I just can't. It was a good effort, as this was Takorin's first attempt at making a game-- Takorin's other "work" was Daisenka/Glory and Miserable Survivors DX, but the only contribution was the spritework. You can purchase Daisenka here on steam, if you weren't already aware of that, and I do recommend that one if you're looking for more game than smut.

THE SHORT GAME OF THE PRINCESS
Sometime ago, i'm pretty sure I saw this game on DLsite or some other website, but I didn't bother picking up, though I couldn't quite remember why. After playing it briefly, I realized that i'm glad I didn't double-dip on this one-- it's a very short experience, and the difficulty lies in whether you choose to have Estelle lose her virginity or not. Anyway, let's begin this review.

THE STORY
The story in this game is basically laid out for you in the first few minutes of the game, the game's synopsis, and if you scroll down and look under story. How do I feel about the story? It's bland, like the majority of H games out there. It's not the first time this sort of premise has been used, and there's quite a few strategy games that employ this sort of plot device that you can pick up on DLsite if you scrounge around a little and look for SLGs.

THE GAMEPLAY
Pretty simple, you can move your units as many tiles as you want if they're your tiles(indicated in blue). Touching an empty red tile or trying to attack an enemy will end the turn of the unit that was moved, and if the enemy on a tile is defeated, you will capture the tile as well. Aside from that, I mostly found myself using the archer to chip away at enemies on first hit, deal damage with the soldier, and then finish off with mage. I almost never utilized the Knight or Armor Knight, and somewhat utilized the Guardian Dragon-- they do virtually no damage and cost too much to heal to be worth using.

Don't engage an enemy if it puts you in a point where 2 or more enemies can attack you at once, try to bottleneck them if you're having issues. As stated earlier, the game's difficulty lies in whether Estelle is a virgin or not, and there ARE endings tied to the state of her chastity. With how short the game is, learn the game by popping her cherry as soon as you can, then go for the virgin ending on the second run; the game's short enough, and easy to understand to do as such.

THE GRAPHICS/VISUALS
Aside from Estelle and the CGs, everything else, from backgrounds, to units, etc were stock assets in RPGmaker, Wolf Editor, and various other engines that you can lift assets from.

THE AUDIO/BGM
Much like the graphics, everything is stock-standard stuff you can lift from various engines and websites, with the exclusion of Estelle's voice actress. In other words, basically nothing to write about, though I will admit that I enjoyed the vocal performance, it was pretty expressive in a good way.

THE H CONTENT
I have to say it every time I write a review for an H game:
This is the section all of you are interested in.
To summarize, it's mostly just PZR, Mouth stuff, non-con, and eventually consenting(mild corruption, I guess). There's a few tags that some might be interested in, namely Somnophilia and Hypnosis, but it's very light, and there's only like... 8 CGs with a few variations. The H content is light, in other words. If you're a complete freakin' weirdo like me and have been in the H game scene for over a decade, you'll definitely find this game's H content severely lacking(alongside the game itself...).

MY PERSONAL ENJOYMENT
I'll be honest, I was strongly considering filing for a refund. The game definitely isn't worth $8, especially with how long it is, but I played it long enough that I could consider it a "minimum wage" level game, so for what it's worth, if you consider game duration versus price, then it's priced properly.

The game itself wasn't very fun to play, and gave no explanation on how to actually play the game, but it's not difficult to understand. Did I enjoy it? No, not really, but it made an hour slide right by, so I guess it's somewhat okay, at best.

THE CONCLUSION
The Winning Secret of the Newbie Strategist Princess is kind of a pain to play, but there's definitely worse out there. If you want to be silly, you can probably just pick the game up, grab the adult patch from OTAKU Plan's website, and maybe get a quick fap, then refund the game after. The game's short enough to do all of that within the refund window.

THE VERDICT
3/10
Skip this one, unless it's on sale for 50%(or more). I'm not cheap enough to refund a game I beat, but I will definitely say that the game is NOT worth $8. The only reason why the score is as high as it is is because the vocal performance was entertaining, and Estelle's dobonhonkeroos are just about the right size for my weirdo tastes.

GRINDY ADVENTURER HUNTING
I ask myself this question every time: why do I keep buying Ketchup AjiNo Mayonnaise's works? There's this weird equilibrium of me disliking and liking their games. On one hand, the animations are decent, but on the other hand, the gameplay itself sucks. While Goblin Adventurer Hunting and the previous game, Succubus Alchemist have reduced levels of grind, the game is still as grindy as a standard Korean-developed MMORPG(Black Desert, Mabinogi, etc).

I couldn't decide whether to buy this on DLsite or here, so I settled for the Steam release instead, because I don't like Ketchup's works enough to double-dip on them compared to other circles(Hasoyua, ONEONE1, etc). Anyway, let's begin the review.

THE STORY
There's story? Well, there's implied story, but the game just throws you in. If you've played Goblin's Strike Back, the story is basically the same as that but simpler. If you haven't, the story is basically a goblin who is in debt and decides to capture adventurers for a brothel to earn money.

THE GAMEPLAY
An even more simplified version of Succubus Alchemist, with most aspects removed besides just collecting adventurers.
The gameplay loop is simple, you just enter the field, grab resources in the entrance, then when you're ready, dive right in.
The gimmick in Goblin Adventurer Hunting this time is the 3-lane system for resources. You basically get to see most of the resources you can get as long as you don't need to light up the lane with torches, so just pick the lane you think you need the most. If you're looking for money, prioritize Bottle/Water lanes. If you want to beat the mid boss or brutalize livestock, pick weapon lanes. If you're trying to level up, pick magic crystal lanes, etc.

Don't try doing everything at once in one run until you have over 50 steps unlocked, it's generally unrealistic to do so while managing your stats and all that. Early game, you'll want to focus all your stats into ATK and MAT(and about 5-6 DEF), as you can use the MAT to get more EN(energy) from Magic Crystals, which will then allow you to get more ATK. You need 13 ATK minimum, but 23 optimally to get Gold Ingots and Mythril Ingots from the midboss room(or lower floors), which you'll need pretty early on for upgrades.

THE AUDIO/BGM
Literally stock-standard RPGmaker assets, barring the female character voices. There is nothing noteworthy here.
Also, these games still have the issue of the "AHE AHE AHE" and "AHI AHI AHI" being painfully repetitive.

THE VISUALS
Again, besides the female character images, everything else is stock-standard RPGmaker assets. There is nothing unique about this game's visuals.

However, the characters were drawn in a more "normal" size compared to the chibi-like variants from the previous games, which I very much appreciate.

THE H CONTENT
While the initial amount of H content seems to be smaller than the previous games, there are multiple variants/animations for each character type, simply locked behind capturing more of them.

If you like restraints, non-con, and captivity, the stuff should be interesting to you.... unfortunately, you'll have to work pretty hard to get all of them, especially 50 of both Midbosses, and 10 of the Princess Knight.

If you're looking for a quick handy session, this isn't the right game to play unless you're satisfied by grabbling the first adventurer you see and just c00ming to that.

IN CONCLUSION
Still, I ask myself... why do I continue to purchase these games? Whether on DLsite or here on Steam, I can never really decide if I hate Ketchup AjiNo Mayonnaise's games or not. I genuinely did dislike Momo's Eternal Adventure, but the games beyond that were somewhat steady improvements.

When I talk about gameplay in H games, I don't mean Korean Grindfests-- I already play enough KRMMORPGs, I prefer playing H games like this to not think about them... but I digress.

THE VERDICT
Honestly? If you didn't like any of the previous entries from this circle/developer, I genuinely say to skip this one and never look back at this "series" of games. If you're like me and hope to see these games get less stupid with each passing iteration, buy it if it's on discount I guess, because this really isn't worth the full price.

5/10 Buy if you're a fan of this circle's works, skip if you aren't

I'll be generous and give this one a "recommended" only because i'm too stupid to realize that I should probably stop buying these games.

DOMINATING HOLD RIGHT SIMULATOR
Let's keep this review relatively short and simple, yeah? It's been a while since I wrote any reviews, after all. Dominating Eyes is a game developed by UNDER HILL, whose previous works are more known via the "MALICIOUS RELOAD" series, of which two entries currently exist. I'll be honest-- I think the gameplay in all of UNDER HILL's games really freaking sucks, but I still buy them anyway. Why do I buy their games? Because I love giant freakin' titties, and ESPECIALLY giant freakin' titties that spray lots of milk. Yes, I love lactation, and the CGs and some of the sprite animations that feature such in UNDER HILL's works are enough to goad me into buying their woefully basic games.

Also, i've purchased all of UNDER HILL's works on DLsite, in support of their efforts; I hope they continuously improve, as they have been at a steady rate. Anyway, let's begin the review.

THE STORY
Dominating Eyes has a very simple, straightforward story that is revealed to you at the beginning of the game, and at the end of it.

Simply put, an entity known as "Evil Eye" has put a curse on all the mages that makes them all super aroused-- also known as a lewd crest, and the protagonist, Shuko, takes it upon herself to slay the thing to put an end to the curse.

Honestly, just read the summary in the game's summary, it basically tells you the entirety of the story right there.

THE GAMEPLAY
If you didn't already get the memo from this review's giant title at the top, Dominating Eyes is basically a hold right simulator. Sometimes you have to jump, and like... twice do you actually have to stop to kill an enemy, not counting bosses of course.

The game lasts about 15-30 minutes depending on the player, probably, since you can just avoid all the minor hazards and trashy enemies just by jumping over them, or simply running past them. For bosses, all you have to do is three-hit combo them with your standard melee attack, while shooting blade beams at the same time. After your 3(maybe 4)hit combo, you just need to backdash. Rinse-repeat until you win, the game is just that simple.

THE GRAPHICS
Simple, kind of... bad, but also good. Some assets look super stretched out, while others seem hyper compressed. The visuals are kind of... everywhere, in terms of quality. The CGs are fine, though.

THE AUDIO+BGM
Nothing of note, just standard stuff you'd basically hear in other H games.

THE H CONTENT
The thing you're all here for, probably.
The H content is mostly just non-consensual stuff, stuff relating to milking/breastfeeding, and some vore.
Honestly pretty standard stuff, but as I said at the top, as long as there's lactation/milk, I'M INTERESTED.

The CGs are decent, the sprite animations are okay, there's better, and this is definitely far from the worst.

THE VERDICT
Honestly? Definitely not worth the price. The only reason I double-dipped on this game and bought it on DLsite when it came out, and here, is because I like seeing the steady improvement in certain circle's works, and UNDER HILL has definitely been improving, if at a somewhat slower pace. There are other circles where improvement in their subsequent works is clear, and if they put their games on steam as well, i'd buy 'em.

... I guess the above wasn't quite the verdict, but more a rambling, huh?
FINAL SCORE: 5.5/10
Pass if you're expecting quality, buy if you like giant breasts and lactation. Definitely do not buy at full price unless you want to support UNDER HILL like I do.

I only give a "Recommended" because there's no "Maybe".

Devils' Short H Game
Man, it's been a while since I wrote a review on any of the H games that's been releasing on Steam. I usually just write stuff on like, DLsite or something. I couldn't even think of a witty title for this one, either. Devils' Night Party, or Manki Yagyo I believe it was called, is a very short game that can be completed within 30~120 minutes depending on the difficulty you choose to set it on. As I am a stupid person, I set the game's difficulty to Strongest, just like I did in the original release of the game. I won't get into the story, as the story itself is very plain and needs no real introduction; you get that in the first 5 minutes of booting up the game.

Anyway, let's begin the(short)review.

GAMEPLAY
Pretty simple gameplay, honestly. It's a standard (H)RPG game with turn-based mechanics. The only real twist is that there isn't exactly a game over until you're graped enough times and hit max capacity on whipped cream in the oven. Most of the game's gameplay is planning out your burst damage, which is just buffing your attack, reducing enemy defense, and then either using Demon Buster or Gale Sword(EX Included). If you really want to kill a group, you use a scroll after buffing/debuffing.

Aside from that, it's just a stock standard H RPG with turn-based battles, nothing new to write or be excited about.

AUDIO AND BGM
Honestly? Why do I include this section for H Games made with RPGmaker MV, VX, or VX ACE? Most of them just use the stock standard assets you get when you buy RPGmaker, or off of generic royalty-free music sites.

In other words, besides the character's voice(which are unique assets), everything else is the usual RPGmaker stuff.

THE H CONTENT
Mm... pretty alright. The H Content in Devils' Night Party is pretty much everywhere-- but only in battle. There are no field events and such that you step into and trigger, all of the H content is strictly done in battle.

95% of the attacks in-game are lewd ones that display a cut-in(which can be hidden via Options at a crystal)of the part that's targeted, and changes based on what enemy is initiating the "attack".

When your HP is reduced to 0, it gives the enemies the chance at fulling the oven with baby batter. The more enemies there are, the more full the oven gets, and the closer you get to a game over. Hitting a game over does not provide scenes; it's just a temporary inconvenience, or a "slap on the wrist", if you can even call it that. Simply put, try to rush the game, and beat it, as every H content in the game is unlocked after you beat the game once.

The H content has absolutely zero nudity, though the skintight suit the protagonist is wearing is basically nude, so what difference does it make?

Fetishes included are honestly pretty tame, mostly just some oven entrance rubbing, some mild penetration, a bunch of tentacles, one milking scene, and a couple yuri-related stuff.

PERSONAL ENJOYMENT
Honestly, I had some fun with Manki Yagyo/Devils' Night Party when it first released in DLsite a couple years ago. It's not the best, and it's certainly not the worst. The game's super short, as I said above, roughly 30~120 minutes depending on the difficulty you set it on.

THE VERDICT
6.5/10
Recommended only because I liked the works put out by this circle, and hope to see continued growth from them.

I wish their first game was released as well, which is primarily a futa in a skintight suit, but hey, this one is okay to pick up given its relatively cheap price.

Buy if on sale if you're interested, skip if you aren't, it's a fast game. Also, you can play the game with one hand, if you like doing things with your free hand.

ALCHEMIST TRIS'S THIRST
... would be the more appropriate title. In fact, the actual title is a little more direct than this, As a regular consumer of kagurado's works on DLsite, Alchemist Tris's Desire is the most recent work developed by this circle... which was made in September 2021. If you're a long-time buyer of kagurado's works, you already know what to expect from this one-- lots of grape, huge breasts, ahegao, and a bunch of white stuff. Anyway, let's get on with the review.

(TL:DR down below, under "THE VERDICT")

THE STORY
The entirety of the story is disclosed to the player in the first five or so minutes of the game; Tris is in search for a specific flower, and the village she stays in supposedly has it naturally growing around there. Why does she need it? Play the game to find out, it's nothing too special. The game itself isn't that long, even if you play on normal mode.

Tris's job is to take on the requests of villagers to build positive reputation by venturing into the nearby forest to gather materials and kill monsters. In doing so, the chief of the village will eventually trust Tris enough to disclose information about the flower she seeks.

THE GAMEPLAY
Mentioned above, the gameplay simply boils down to a few simple steps:
- Talk to every villager and accept their quest(s).
- Go out into the forest
- Collect materials
- Kill monsters
- Find specific female NPCs and trigger their initial event
- Check your quest list for materials necessary to complete a quest
- Return to town when you can complete one or more quests.
- Make more combat items(if you're playing on normal mode)
- Turn in quest to complete it
- If the quest giver is a female NPC with her own individual sprite, you get an H scene
- Repeat all steps, talk to female NPC(s) you helped for additional H scenes

That's the entire game formula for questing, at least.

Combat is a bit more interesting. If you're familiar with the Atelier series, the combat is somewhat similar to that. Tris doesn't have much physical prowess, so her fighting comes from using explosives and potions to deal damage to enemies and heal herself. If you play on Normal Mode, you have to manage your inventory weight with a cap of 50. Split your resources to have a bunch of regular bombs, some hi bombs, and a couple potions.

Crafting more items for combat can be done in Tris's house, and the materials are regularly replenished.

Playing on Smooth Mode and Super Smooth Mode allows you to completely ignore one or more aspects of the game.
If you want to play the game mostly normally, you can activate Smooth Mode to not have to worry about inventory capacity, and just spam Hi Bombs and stuff to win battles-- there is no restriction.
If you are a coomer, and just want to see the H scenes, activate super smooth mode: it gives you every item necessary to trigger every H event.

Pretty convenient, huh? After watching H events, you unlock them in the gallery, and can watch the entire scene again, or just see the CGs.

THE MUSIC AND SOUND
Generic RPGmaker MV stuff. Literally nothing unique here.

THE VISUALS
Besides Tris, the CGs, and the female NPC sprites that you can grape, every other asset in the game is stock RPGmaker MV stuff. There is nothing standout about this game's visuals.

THE H CONTENT
Grape, and LOTS of it. The game heavily revolves around grape and futa on female. If you're not into that, you probably wouldn't like any of the scenes. Most of the characters Tris can grape are heavily voluptuous women, and some are....... well, loli.

In fact, the subtitle for this game on DLsite is "It's Not Grape if They Eventually Enjoy It!", let that set the tone for you.

Most of kagurado's works involve heavy grape and ahegao, and a lot of the scenes contain generic sexual positions like doggy, missionary, mating press, etc.

If you like:
- FUTANARI
- Non-consensual/grape
- Voluptuous women
- Loli
- Flatchests
- Ahegao
- Multiple creampies

This game is absolutely for you, dear coomer.

MY PERSONAL ENJOYMENT
I'm not really sure how I feel about this game. I double-dipped on this game, bought it once on DLsite, then Steam, but that's mostly because I forgot to finish the game in its original release, tried to come back to it, and forgot what the hell I was doing. I decided to play this one on Smooth Mode to power through the content, and well...

The game is kinda... mediocre. Gameplay-wise, content-wise, and H content-wise, it's just... lacking in all departments, but I suppose it's because i've become a connoisseur of H games in the last decade.

THE VERDICT
6/10, maybe buy on 30% off or more
I wish there was a "maybe" recommendation button, but i'll just put "Yes" to be nice, as I regularly purchase kagurado and Dieselmine's works on DLsite and FANZA.

A bit expensive for the price, but I suppose Alchemist Tris's Desire has a bit more effort put into it compared to other H RPGs. The game lasts anywhere from 1 hour to maybe 10 hours depending on what mode you play. Especially worth/not worth it depending on your favorability towards Futanari and grape.

You could probably find a better H game here on Steam. I personally recommend Serafina and the Key to the Egg, if you want something that's heavy on the grape and has a thick character, and lots of white juices.

Waifu Survivors... in Space!

As usual, let me begin by prefacing my history buying H games on DLsite, this being one of them. I was pleasantly surprised to see this released on Steam 1 day after it came out. I bought this game on DLsite when it was released, and I will say, it's definitely fun. Much like Vampire Survivors or HoloCure, Universe Treasure is basically a roguelike horde shooter where you level up to collect items while avoiding enemies. What sets this game apart from other games of similar design is that instead of having special boss enemies, it has objectives, moreso than just "kill and collect" like the other games. Also, if you've bought this game on DLsite and played it, the game will detect your data and you can play from where you left off straight away! It was fantastic, as i'd spent tens of hours playing this game's original release.

One more thing before I start the review: don't listen to the guy who wrote that the game is partially translated: it's only in the loading screens(which are images, rather than text) that were left untranslated. You can go in the settings and change the language to English or any of the other provided languages if you cannot read Japanese.

Anyway, let's begin the review."TL:DR" on bottom.

GAMEPLAY

Further continuing upon what I talked about in the introduction, Universe Treasure is a simple game where you level up to collect items. Compared to the DLsite version when I purchased it, the game has been updated several times, now, adding more weapons and passives. However, the upgrades remain the same, as do the objectives, meaning the only changes were new item acquisitions.

The game basically flows as such:
- Pick a stage and choose whether you want to activate fast+hyper mode
- Select the heroine you'd like to play: you start with one, and unlock the other three after rescuing them in each region.
- Shoot, stab, and blast monsters
- Pick up the genes they drop to level up
- Select item
- Wait for yellow question marks to appear on the map, investigate, defeat the boss that spawns, then collect your reward by walking on the cockpit/capsule.
- Repeat for 10, 20, or 30 minutes.

The game's pretty simple, and you unlock more weapons and passives by finding them in capsules. Be warned, however! if you are defeated in battle, you will lose all unlockables you picked up in that stage, and the heroine that is defeated will essentially lose a "continue"-- if you lose too much with a single heroine, you will be unable to use them again. If you lose too much with all four Heroines, it will lead to a game over, which essentially nukes your save, so if you intend on collecting all the H content, make sure you do it on a new file with the minimum amount of investment.

THE VISUALS

It's not sprite art like Vampire Survivors or HoloCure, however the graphics are still pretty good, and most of what you're looking at is pretty clear/easy to discern. Some assets are stock stuff you can get online, while the art for the heroines are all unique. Aside from that, the graphics are pretty basic, nothing to really write home about.

** A big warning, if your eyes are weak to repeated screen flashing, do NOT upgrade/evolve the sword with the cooldown reduction passive, as it results in blindingly white flashes per slash. The sword is fantastic as a weapon, but I can't use it as it makes the game borderline unplayable for me.

THE AUDIO(Sound/Music)

Honestly? I'd rate the audio pretty atrociously. Certain combinations of weapons(Funnel+Exp Growth, for example) absolutely destroy the sound, and the BGM are all rather lacking. The downside is that the evolved weapon of Funnel+EXP Growth is one of the best weapons, so you have to sacrifice your ears just to have an easier time with clearing stages.

THE H CONTENT

I know, a good amount of people reading this probably really only care about this section, but...

Speaking frankly, the H content in this game really sucks, especially compared to the Developer's previous works(which can be found on DLsite). They're all pretty basic/generic, involving interspecies "mingling", and humiliation, and the art is just lacking this time around. Honestly, don't bother collecting the H scenes, and just play this game as if it's just another "Survivors"-type game.

MY PERSONAL ENJOYMENT

First off, I really do enjoy this game. It's not the best in the genre, but it's still definitely fun compared to Vampire Survivors and HoloCure(and soon, Beautiful/Sexy Mystic Survivor), as it does a good amount of different things from them.

Though I may regularly buy, play, and review H games, I treat Universe Treasure more as a normal game than an H game, and it has the replayability to play for tens, or maybe even over a hundred hours.

ALSO, UNLIKE OTHER SURVIVORS-LIKE GAMES, TERRAIN BLOCKS BOTH THE PLAYER AND THE ENEMY(excluding bosses), which is an amazing feature! WHY THE HECK DO ALL THE OTHER GAMES IN THIS GENRE NOT DO THIS?!

THE VERDICT

7.5/10, if not for the white flashes on Sword evolution and the terrible sound effects, i'd definitely have rated this an 8 or even a 9, as it's a very addicting game that anyone of any skill level can play and get into(if you ignore the nudity/H content).

Personally, i'd say Universe Treasure is definitely worth the price tag, especially on sale. Pick it up if you have some money laying around and need to sink your teeth into another game of this type.

YOU THOUGHT THE REVIEW WAS OVER? PROS AND CONS

Treat this as a sort of TL:DR if you're too lazy to read the review:
    Pros
  • Addicting Gameplay
  • Decent-looking heroines
  • A lot of the upgrades are useful
  • A lot of replayability
  • TERRAIN CAN BLOCK ENEMIES!!!
  • Clear visuals
  • Decent aesthetic
  • None of the heroines feel useless/bad to play, compared to other games in the genre

    Cons
  • Atrocious sound effects with certain weapon evolutions
  • Decent-looking heroines(they could look better, in my opinion)
  • RNG hard-dictates what weapons and passives you unlock, and often times you earn no new unlocks between runs
  • RNG hard-dictates whether you can advance the story or not
  • The game wasn't released on Steam sooner

If you search this game up on DLsite, you can probably find my review there, as well. Anyway, again, just pick it up, it's fun.
As usual, I will say this:
Rare is the game I praise, so do take this review as my serious, honest opinion.

Serafina and the Key to the Egg-cellent H RPG
Did that pun make you groan? I'm sure it did. Well, even if it didn't, let me start by saying that i've purchased this game years ago, as well as most of Hasoyua's other works on DLsite, and double-dipped here on Steam. Before we begin the review, know that I wholeheartedly recommend this game. Do you even need to read the rest of the review after i've said that? Probably not, but think of it as a TL:DR. As some or many of you may know, my reviews on H games tend to be incredibly scathing-- ranging from "HARD PASS" to "It's pretty bad, don't bother", so if you recognize my username, you can be surprised at my recommendation.

... Anyway, let's begin the review!

THE STORY
Serafina and the Key to the Egg takes place in a fantasy world, where the protagonist, Serafina(whom you can rename), is a True Maiden, whose task is to find the Key to the Egg, which was stolen from her village. The Key to the Egg is used to unseal the Demon Lord Ires, and it must be retrieved at all costs

Upon hearing news about a major commerce hub auctioning off the key, Serafina sets out, with an invitation/visa to stay in the city sent by her friend/rival, Ange, who also seeks to gain the Key to the Egg. The goal of the game is to extend your Visa's duration long enough to participate in the auction, which is 80 days away, then purchase it.

Pretty simple story, and definitely quite a bit different from the usual. It kind of reminds me of Kino's Journey, just... with a different, clear goal, and smut.

Parts of the story are also linked to previous Hasoyua games as well, and if you've played them, you will quickly understand the correlation and references throughout the story.

THE GAMEPLAY
The gameplay loop is pretty simple. Typically, an average "day" in-game is comprised of:
1- Checking the Government Office, Slums Tavern and selecting a quest
1a- Working at the Town/Slums/Inner District Tavern, Church, or Arena in the Slums
1b- Talk to townspeople(once for 90% of NPCs, the rest require 2-3 times)
3- Buying any gear or supplies you might need
4- Exiting the town/slums/inner district and embarking on the quest.

Once you embark on a quest, you simply need to hit "Proceed". The game will randomly generate an event from a pool of events, such as taking a break, finding an item, encountering an enemy, and other such things.

Make sure to spend at least 60% of the days alloted to you doing quests, or beat the excrement out of all the Top Fighters in the arena to get to the key point in the game.

Now, i'm not sure what the game is like without the H Content, but progressing through quests and encountering monsters means fighting, and fighting means Serafina's clothes can get torn. Serafina can also get "handled", if you know what I mean, then ultimately captured and "taken care of". Sometimes, upon capture, she might even be dragged into a Den that she needs to escape from, in a similar style to normally progressing quests.

If you get captured, it takes away from the deadline of visa extension, so take extra care not to get caught and linger too much... should you fail to extend the visa deadline, you will be thrown out of the city, sent to the slums. Should the worst case happen, Serafina would be reduced to having to rely on more... underhanded means to achieve her goal.

There are also two clear endings, and a hard mode clear ending, but i'll let you play through to read about it.

THE GRAPHICS/VISUALS
Aside from Serafina and a few other characters, the rest of the game is comprised of stock assets from RPGmaker's store, such as item icons, text windows, backgrounds, etc. Unnecessary characters are all just shadows. How much more unnecessary can they get?

Not much to say here except that Hasoyua's artist, Senra, has improved when it comes to the characters.

THE SOUND/MUSIC
The music for Serafina is actually pretty unique-- at least, I haven't heard some of the tracks from other H RPGs made using RPG Maker VX ACE, or MV, or any other common RPG creation tool.

The sound effects range from uncommon sounds you might hear in some RPGmaker games, to common assets you'll regularly hear. Nothing too striking about this section.

THE H CONTENT
It's starting to get old writing this every time, but this is probably why most of you are here reading this, right?
Let me start by saying that Senrabanshou's art has significantly improved compared to the older titles such as Lisette's Assassin Maid(The Power to Manipulate Demons, in JP), Seed of Evil, etc. Serafina still has the same-face issue, but the body isn't cut-and-paste from the previous protagonists-- as she clearly has more pronounced curves and larger breasts.

The H content mostly revolves around being "roughly handled" by either bandits or tentacles, either in battle, or on defeat. The game heavily features corruption as well, which is fantastic if you're into that.

Certain mid to late-game H Events can lead to costume changes, such as being forced to wear little to nothing, giving Serafina humongous dobonhonkeroos, or having her put into a living tentacle outfit, which, incidentally, all affect Serafina's standing pose in town and in battle-- the oversized bonhonagahoogs also reducing her speed by 40.
    Anyway, If you're into:
  • Tentacles
  • Non-consensual
  • Clothing Damage
  • In-combat non-conensual
  • Foreplay(oral, paizuri, etc.)
  • Hardcore(DP, Bukkake, captivity, etc)
  • Lactation
  • Pregnancy and Birth
Then this game is absolutely for you. There's at least 20 scenes, with varied CGs, and all of them are well-illustrated, the text also being quite decent.

MY PERSONAL ENJOYMENT
Now, as biased as I am toward Serafina and the Key to the Egg, the game is not without flaw. A few encounters can be incredibly imbalanced, and it feels like you have to lose to progress, as losing gives SP to learn skills and passives. A lot of events also require Serafina to have lost her virginity, so either stick by the virgin route, or make her into a mega "farming tool".

Also, my biggest gripe with the game is the amount of menus you have to go through to actually play the game, and the repetition.

However, aside from that, there isn't much I dislike about the game-- Serafina and the Key to the Egg is an H RPG that's a head above the rest of the H RPGs on the market, standing up there with games produced by ONEONE1, Triangle!, PICOPICOSOFT, etc.

As of 3 days past writing this review(6/27/2022), i've cleared the game on Hard Mode, Virgin Clear, on a fresh save. It is possible, but if you seek to do the same, make sure you have 350,000~600,000 coins saved by the end of the game, and focus on raising your combat stats.

THE VERDICT
8.5/10 GOOD GOSH, JUST BUY IT, IT'S WORTH YOUR MONEY IF YOU'RE CULTURED.

The game is relatively short, depending on what difficulty you're playing on, and if you keep Serafina virginity or not. This does not include new game transfers/post-game continuation to get the other endings. We're talking about 6~16 hours or so if you just hold CTRL down to skip all the text and mash through battles to get the other endings. This has not changed between the JP and Steam version.

Rare is the H game that I praise, so do take this appraisal seriously.

Also, this game ticked so many of my boxes, that it was arousing to someone like me, who has been incredibly desensitized by smut and has bought hundreds of H games, and also has a dead libido. If that doesn't sell you on the game, then there is nothing that will convince you to buy this gem of an H RPG.
