This is an Art Directional masterpiece through and through. Joseph Cross, cudos! I couldn't stop looking around the map in awe throughout the whole server-slam event. Perhaps that would explain my extraction rate.

On the technical side, I've experienced zero hiccups whatsoever. No stutters, stable 120+ fps on max settings 2560x1440 on a beefy rig (but still, in the modern AAA gaming world, it is a very rare occasion). Crispy clean rendering with no popups, smearing, or anything like that. The only distracting visual aspect is the usual screen space reflection issues, but what can you do? Raytraced reflections are still a very expensive solution for that minor issue.

Also, the music! It adds so much atmosphere. Composer Ryan Lott already did something incredible, and in time that could be in the same category as what Amon Tobin did for Splinter Cell, or Solar Fields for Mirror's Edge, or Ed Harrison (<3) for Neotokyo.

As for the longevity of the gameplay loop: only time will tell. Right now I am having a blast, I hope Bungie won't fumble it up later down the road.

Good stuff.

It's fine. Fun for a while, repetitive soon after. Too easy and too grindy. Needs more time in the oven.

It's ok. Too short for the time being and too repetitive. Music is annoying, turned it off instantly, bummer.
Also, something is missing in the gameplay loop to make it more replayable for me. 6/10

Great TV show that tries to pretend to be a game. But I don't care, I just want to watch the story unfold. So far so good.

Solid gameplay, great visual and sound presentation. But two weeks after the initial release they're already adding some gold and acid blue skins. What a shame.

The game that gets straight into the action after the first loading screen is a win in my book.

Looks pretty good, runs poorly. But the gameplay is too boring to continue playing this game.
