For now I'll be putting this as not recommended as there are some underlying issues which I would love to be addressed, probably would change the review later on.

So the game itself is honestly fairly fun and refreshing, somewhat faithful to the mobile suits while still minding about balance. Although there are some problems when it comes to balance in the bigger picture.

-> The balance design philosophy felt a bit odd at times, as some MS(mobile suit) felt like they had to have rather weak/average kit for compensating their powerful ultimates, some have awkward synergy with their own skill, while some others just felt overloaded with utility.
-> contrary to what others say about melee MS, in my honest opinion while some are a bit overloaded, the issue felt like it lies more in the map design as some maps are too fast paced(combat and rejoining fight happens too quickly due to the distance) while being close combat claustrophobic hallways with many flanking points that gives much advantage to close combatants. Like even if you're insanely good with your aim is not easy dealing with the two melee, exia, that are being constantly supported by a unicorn in some of these map.
-> issue above becomes more prevalent due to exia and zaku melee which are close combatant being premium and marasai with its hard lockdown cc as one of the option to deal with these close combatant is also premium makes it rough to deal with when you're in a lobby with f2p players that either only have one of the premium or haven't even unlock any yet.

outside of the balancing issue, currently I'm a bit put off with :
-> playing doesn't really gives you anything, whether you win or lose outside of minor exp difference.. Even leveling up doesnt gives you anything, only strictly beginner mission and the battlepass.
-> to work with the battlepass you'll need to do challenges which requires you do use one of the 4 MS available for that challenge, 1 is premium so f2p players only got 3 option if they just started playing.
-> and if it's not hard enough with some, few of this made no sense such as asking you to do critical hit(headshot) kill with example asshimar, barbatos(melee), doom trooper(explosive can't headshot) and the last one being premium I don't have yet meaning i was forced to play aashimar only to finish this one.
-> if someone disconnect before the game begins the lobby is forced to close, meanwhile if they dc during the game well you're stuck with that. This also means if you are disconnected from either your own isp issue or the server they'll mark you as leaver and you'll receive penalty even if its on casual and not ranked. No, you don't have the option to reconnect either.

So yeah, genuinely the game felt fun but too many things makes the game not that enjoyable in the long run at least for the moment. I'll definitely be pleased if in the near future these issues gets addressed and would gladly change my review.

P.S Zaku melee is not op, it's just another zeon propaganda.
