Waven is a simple TRPG where you can build a deck of different equipments, spells, and companions.
You can pick from 5 different classes (races) but within those races there is a lot of customization with the decks I mentioned.

Right now the game struggles from bugs and if you're new like me there really isn't much direction besides "oh do these quests!" which are as simple as clicking on a person and clicking quest bringing you right into the combat.

The game has potential for fun but right now I'm not really building up towards anything, it's all early level boredom where nothing requires much thought or work.

The game also has many bugs which don't seem to break the game but are really annoying. Some such bugs are often just delays in the game, you might press a spell but it takes a minute to cast, you try to open a chest but it doesn't move on to the next screen so you have to exit and open, pick your loot and repeat until the game registers that you have indeed opened the chest. All annoying especially since the game was in testing for a while but nothing game breaking.

Overall 6/10, has potential, but bugs are annoying and early into the game it is mildly entertaining.

Would recommend trying out.

Overall: Very Good Game

Art: Fantastic, the sprite work is amazing, the colors are nice, and the portraits and pictures given between each chapter are really nice.

Gameplay: Good, platforming feels really nice and most of the time you never felt like you weren't in control, often I pushed harder because I knew I was close to beating to level or collecting the strawberry.

Story: Amazing, without going into its a good story about mental illness.

Music: Nice, though I'm not a music person.

13 hours in: Good Game play, Shooting, looting, helping, and building is really fun.
Story isn't that special so far it is intresting at first though.
One thing though is the building part feels clunky and under done like they rushed it in without any play testing.
NPC's are also mostly just called "Raider" "Settler" etc. there are not many named npcs, so you end up just doing a quest and it being something simple as "oh these raiders have been troubling us." "oh thank you" and that's it.
So far 8/10

-No online co-op
-only way to play online is to use steam remote
-slow and laggy
-controller support is hard to set up
Overall I would not get the game for full price, wait for a deal.

Great game, Relaxing, Hours and hours of game play. You don't have to farm, you can do a variety of things such as mining or fishing. Truly 10/10 you would have to experience it for yourself if you haven't. Worth way more than it costs.
