Fun game if you don't mind shooters with no crazy movement bells and whistles (Doesn't even have a jump in this game), was a pretty fun 100%, get it on sale and have a good couple of hours

upon playing the remaster, I have absolutely no idea how anybody beat this game on n64. The quality of life additions here are above and beyond

Great game but will crash/stutter constantly and then SOFTBAN you for "unstable internet connection". Not even ragequitting with invasions, this is exclusively co-op with the homies and now they're waiting on me.

Everything a puzzle game should be. Strong core idea with a good scoring system, lots of room for strategy, unique game modes, suitably simple art style that doesn't distract you and lets you get into the groove with it. Solid buy.

these guys nailed it. buy this one.

The least immersive game Frictional has ever put out. Constantly wrangling mouse control from you, intense linearity (not as much as Machine For Pigs but still), unengaging gameplay. Good story and writing as expected with the best voice acting the series has seen, but sloppy explanations of previously mysterious elements of the series evaporates the mystique in this one.

Pass unless you're genuinely interested in Amnesia lore.

Almost recommendable. Some occasionally great visuals, and there's enough you can understand about the creator for some of the visuals to work, there's themes of OCD, ADD, nihilism, therapy, the upper class, passage of time amongst others. But what it's lacking is pacing and structure. The first 10 minutes are unplayable and could have easily gotten the same point across while being interactive, and there's several points where I wanted to soak in a visual but the game went "alright next show scene" and faded out. With no way to go back to any point in the game, with no characters to tie together the experience, and very VERY limited interactivity, I'll have to give this one a pass. Would work better as a free GameJolt download without the stupid fadeouts when I'm trying to soak in the admittedly good atmosphere.
