I played this game for the Steam badges, LOL. ♥

After playing this game nonstop for the better part of a week, I can say that I whole-heartedly recommend this game... Although I do wish it wasn't so expensive, LOL.

The voice acting is good and the story is well written and engaging.

I laughed. I cried. I beat the everloving crap out of the local SWAT team.

This game has evolved to *stunning* levels of sophistication.

I played WF mostly on console, circa 2016 or so.

I logged hundreds of hours and this game is the sole reason I own a PS4 ChatPad, to this day.

I eventually moved on to PC games and never got back into console stuff, so WF sad mostly ignored, as a title I remembered as having "intriguing but seemingly disconnected and confusing lore".

FF to a month ago, when I decided to check in because a new friend was playing it regularly:

Dear gods, the IP is nigh unrecognizable, in the very best of ways; whatever you felt WF was lacking in the past, I guarantee you that thing probably has it's own dedicate game mode, NPC's, and independent Story quest now.

The Story is FINALLY coherent (if not quite cohesive yet... Something the new update should address, with it's MR separation) and is intricately crafted and layered, with awesome musical themes that accentuate the work of love that this game has become. ♥

Warframe may be the very *epitome* of Western storytelling at the moment, (at least, if not especially, online) and that is absolutely no exaggeration.

"Call of the Tempestarii" questline is a gorgeous blend of soaring composition and emotionally moving story, on par with any farings you would find on your favorite streaming platform, if not better.

Fortuna, seen through the musical lens of somber ballad, "We All Lift Together", is transformed, from a seeming example of asset re-use and laziness (LOL!) to an intentionally bleak and dismal atmosphere... One that is rendered with *purpose*... Even if that purpose be terrible.

The Perrin Sequence seems much more "human" and far more interesting, after you understand the optional side mission "Glast's Gambit" (spoilers... ♥).

I could go on, for another 15 paragraphs.

The fact that this game remains nearly invisible in most award rankings and selections, only serves to show me what an absolute JOKE most of this industry is... And as such, WF remains a refreshingly fresh and creative breathe of air.

I'll give this dumpster fire a decent review when the studio morons pull their heads out of their a**es to realize Nurgle isn't the only Chaos God.

Seriously, just f**king ABANDON the title if you're going to screw up this badly, you stupid f**king c*nts.

Unplayable due to hackers in literally every single match. Basically CSGO with vampires, its that bad.

Also, no ingame scoreboard or reporting feature (a no-brainer in 2021 and indicative of how out of touch and ill conceived the devs are and this product is).

Cant recommend. This game had me irritated literally 40 seconds in. If you're going to incorporate asshat, non-linear, rotation puzzes, at least make them wasd/arrow friendly...And maybe contextually mattering to the rest of the scene would help, eh?

Either way, needlessly complicated and headache inducing literally RIGHT AFTER launching.

Pass.
