Multiplayer while flawed is very fun.

The game itself is amazing, but I can’t recommend anyone spend a cent on this game until Sega spends the five minutes it would take to fix the broken save system in this game. You’re better off emulating the Dreamcast version until then.

I first played Doom as shareware on a 486sx PC with 4MB of RAM in 1994 at the tender age of 12 years old and have been hooked ever since. DOOM 2016 is the first time in over 20 years that Doom game felt like Doom (sorry, not sorry Doom 3).

DOOM 2016 goes back to the basics of what made Doom special, fast paced combat against a large and varied set of enemies. The fact that it succeeds at that task while also successfully introducing new mechanics is a testament to the dev team's love of the series.

And if all of that weren't enough, the whole thing is wrapped in a beautiful package of great art direction and level design packaged in one of the most optimized and technologically advanced game engines on the market.

This game is a must buy for anyone looking for a shooter that harkens back to the fast paced FPS games of yore while innovating on that style of game.

An absolute masterpiece.
